General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, April 9 reveal Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) and Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) make plans.
In the meantime, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) fusses at Valentin Cassadine, (James Patrick Stuart) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) gets a distraught call!

Emma And Gio Make Plans
Emma and Gio make plans after Gio’s appearance at Charlie’s Pub opening, even though Gio wasn’t sure he wanted to play publicly again-she talked him into it.
He invited Emma to a weekend in New York City, to see an old friend and some shows. Emma smiles, and tells him that as long as she’s with him, she’ll go anywhere.
This will be an important weekend for the couple, as it will be their first trip out of town together.
Gio will hope to get Emma’s mind off her grandma, at least for a while, not liking her feeling sad.
Michael Loves Learning New Things
In the meantime, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) is with Jacinda Bracken, (Paige Herschell) and he tells her he loves that he’s still learning new things about her every day.
He tells her she’s full of surprises, and that’s something he loves about her. Jacinda and Michael are getting closer and closer, and he also loves her getting to be good friends with his sister Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi).
Jacinda is good at what she does at Crimson, even if she clashes once in a while with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). But Nina can’t do a thing about it, because Michael is her boss!
Tracy’s Out Of The Loop And She Doesn’t Like It!
Back at the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) out of the loop, and she doesn’t like it!
She is upset as she stares down Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) as she rants, “No one, not a single soul, thought to inform me!”
What exactly does Tracy have a bee in her bonnet about this time, not being told about Gio’s performance?
That wouldn’t be surprising that no one told Tracy Gio was performing, considering her hatred for Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) days!
Or might she be referring to Brook Lynn and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) being conditionally accepted to foster baby Phoebe (uncredited)?
Carly Fusses At Valentin
In the meantime, back at Carly’s house, she’s fussing at Valentin, after they’ve just returned from a rescue mission-Valentin helped Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) rescue Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).
This was while Carly picked up Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) who wrecked Charlotte’s car with Danny behind the wheel!
Carly is apparently upset about something Valentin hasn’t brought her in the loop about, as she demands, “Is that what you’ve been doing here the whole time?”
So, is she referring to the whole time he’s been hiding at her house, or the time when she was rescuing Charlotte and Danny?
And another question is, how did Valentin get home, walk all the way from Route 91?

Doctor Needed, Curtis And Jordan Arrive With The EMTS
At General Hospital, Curtis and Jordan arrive with the EMTS, and as Jordan’s being wheeled in on a stretcher, he shouts, “We need a doctor!”
Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) stands at the desk and turns around briefly, likely to assign a trauma room for Jordan, and no doubt he’ll pitch in!
Neither Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) or Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) are available, considering they were in his cabin when Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) called him.
Of course, this also begs the question, where is the invisible TJ Ashford, (Tajh Bellow) now that his mom’s being brought into the hospital in serious condition?
Or has TJ since transferred out of the area, albeit offscreen?
Trina Gets A Distraught Phone Call
Elsewhere, Trina, fresh from her performance at Charlie’s Pub that Gio played guitar for her on, is alarmed as she gets a distraught phone call, more than likely from her father at GH!
She says, “Oh my God, is it mom, is it the baby?”
Curtis will need all the support he can get, considering Jordan looked to be in very bad shape, and she never did wake up.
Valentin and Curtis were just kind of functioning like a two-man walker, with Jordan really not waking up at all, or at least she wasn’t responding.
She appeared to have a nasty gash on the side of her face, and it’s possible that she could have a head injury-possibly even a traumatic brain injury!
