GH Spoilers: Sonny Declares War On Ric After Major Betrayal?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could rue the day he added his brother Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) to his legal team.

Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) warned him that he was making a mistake and everyone knows that Alexis is always right. Full stop. It’s time to take a deep dive into Ric and Sonny’s dynamic and possible blowup!

Will Ric Betray Sonny?

Sonny told an overwrought Alexis that Ric would dealing with his criminal defense “as needed” and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) would still be used as well.

Ric and Sonny have a strong sibling rivalry that has darkened their relationship. Ric has atoned for that by helping with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) recent legal issues. As a result Sonny wants to mend fences, even though Alexis feels that Sonny can’t trust Ric.

Is Alexis Right?

She claimed that Ric may not double-cross him but Sonny can’t be sure, and asked how her daughters, (one with each brother), Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi), would feel if their fathers reengage their feud.

Given Alexis’ ominous rant we predict that Ric will indeed soon find himself in the weeds with his brother!

Will Ric Betray Sonny?

We’re not saying that Ric maliciously stabs Sonny in the back. But he could be forced into a delicate situation in which he has to choose.

For example, he might have to protect Molly from Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), Sonny’s enemy. Or it could be more personal if Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) ignite.

Ric is also interested in Liz, and Dante is Sonny’s son. This would surely test the axiom that all is fair in love and war?

Will Ric Get Jealous?

How would Sonny react if Ric and Dante go to war over Liz? He may claim to be Switzerland at first, but Sonny’s loyalties would be tested. And we all know how persnickety Sonny gets when he’s irked.
