GH Spoilers: Serena Baldwin’s Return – Is Scotty Not Too Far Behind?

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Serena Baldwin is returning to the land of Port Charles, as it was announced that actress Kelly Kruger will be recast in the role.

Serena is headed back to town, which has fans wondering: will her father, Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) make a comeback, too?

Where Are You, Scotty Baldwin?

General Hospital spoilers remind fans that Serena is the daughter of Scott and the late Dominique Stanton (Shell Danielson), while Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is the child’s surrogate.

A lot has changed in Port Charles since Serena was in town, namely, she gained a brother in the form of Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), who is Dominique’s son with Mac Scorpio (John J. York).

Meanwhile, Scotty’s been MIA since 2024, and he exited the canvas under mysterious circumstances.

Is Serena back to get to know her brother? Potentially reconnect with Lucy, as she’s got permanent roots in PC? Then again, has Serena returned because of concern over her father … is Scotty missing?

Scott Baldwin’s Comeback

Kin Shriner has been playing Scott Baldwin, on and off, since 1977. Scotty can be the hero in a situation, sometimes the villain, and more often than not, adds a unique layer of comedy to any storyline he’s in.

Still, as Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is back on canvas, not to mention Scotty’s best friend and at times, bedmate, Lucy, there is a plethora of reasons why the character could, or should, return to canvas along with his daughter.

It would seem odd for Serena to be back in town, and Scotty not there, so only time will tell.

Meanwhile, Kruger entering the role of Serena has caused quite a buzz on social media. Fans are very excited to see the actress in this part and intrigued about what kind of storyline Serena will be a part of.

Kruger started in daytime drama on The Young and the Restless, playing Mackenzie Browning, entering the role in 2002, exiting in 2003, and returning from 2018 to 2019.

She also played Eva on The Bold and the Beautiful from 2014 to 2017, as well as 2020 to 2021.
