Darin Brooks’ Divorce
Darin Brooks and Kelly Kruger were married in 2016. The couple almost made it to celebrate their 10 year wedding anniversary.
But, they unexpectedly called it quits in early 2026 and announced that they were getting a divorce. Brooks and Kelly share two daughters together, Everleigh Jolie and Gemma Wynter.
In March 2026, the soap stars issued a joint statement confirming their split and that they were dedicated to keeping things amicable. The couple told TV Insider, “We’re committed to coparenting our two children and remaining friends.”
Kruger is well-known for her role as Mackenzie Browning on CBS sister show The Young And The Restless.
She also appeared on B&B with her hubby and played the role of Eva. But, she was never involved in any major storylines. Now, Kelly Kruger can add General Hospital to her resume!
Kelly Kruger Joins General Hospital Cast
General Hospital confirmed this week that Kelly Kruger had joined the show as Serena Baldwin.
Kruger is actually coming on as a recast, Serena left Port Charles in 2017 and hasn’t been seen since. When the character left the soap, she was played by actress Carly Schroeder.
Darin Brooks and Kelly Kruger seem to both be starting new journeys and heading back to work. This is actually Kruger’s first major role in several years, she’s been raising their young daughters.
