GH Spoilers: Ric Steps Aside So Liz Can Be With Dante

General Hospital spoilers note that Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) is finally getting exactly what he wants: a second chance at romance to be with Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Hearbst)!

Still, as the man has turned a new leaf, will he step aside so the nurse can be with someone more “upstanding” like PCPD Chief Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna)?

Love Triangle Plot Twist

General Hospital spoilers imply that a love triangle seems to be forming between Dante, Liz, and Ric.

Dante and Liz have been in each other’s orbits quite a lot lately, and fans have noticed some sparks. Dante clearly is smitten, and Elizabeth seems a bit clueless about his potential crush.

With that said, Liz is focused on giving her ex, Ric, another chance. He claims to be a changed man, and if he can cut out the scheming, lying, and deceit, the two may be able to share a lovely romance.

Still, the fact that he’s working closely with his mob boss brother, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), could prove to be an obstacle.

Will Ric Lansing Step Aside?

Ric has no clue that Dante and Liz are getting closer. At the end of the day, they’ve only shared a few scenes together at the hospital, so unless they are placed in a situation outside of Liz’s workplace, it would be difficult for Ric to piece together their chemistry.

At this point, it doesn’t even feel as if Liz and Dante are that close. But this could change in the weeks ahead if they continue to “bump” into each other and spend more time together.

Still, as Ric gets deeper into Sonny’s business and more involved in the Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) revenge, will he second-guess his romance with Elizabeth?

Sidwell is a dangerous man who doesn’t mess around. Could Ric decide to backpedal from a relationship with Liz to protect her?

In the same respect, if Ric sees the sparks between Liz and Dante, he may believe that the best thing for the nurse is to step aside, so she can be with someone a bit “safer” like Dante.
