GH Spoilers: Obrecht Rages Over Nathan’s New Romance, Enlists Britt to Push Lulu Away

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will face some enraging news.

Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) won’t be on the romantic path that Liesl had in mind, so she’ll take matters into her own hands and drag Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) into the drama, too.

Once Obrecht learned Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) was out of her coma, she immediately assumed Maxie would be coming home to reunite with Nathan.

Liesl even went as far as telling Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) that his services were no longer needed! It’s clear that Obrecht was brimming with confidence when it came to Maxie choosing her back-from-the-grave husband over Spinelli.

However, Maxie picked Spinelli instead, so it’s time to start thinking about Liesl’s reaction to that shocker. You can bet Obrecht is going to blow her top when she realizes Maxie rejected Nathan during their Port Charles reunion.

Of course, Liesl may assume Maxie feels obligated to stand by Spinelli after everything he’s done for her. Obrecht might even assume Maxie is lagging in brainpower since it hasn’t been that long since she came out of her coma.

Whatever the case, Liesl won’t stand for this and will no doubt make it her mission to push Nathan back in Maxie’s direction. Unfortunately, Nathan has other ideas since he’s fine with Maxie’s choice.

Deep down, this is the outcome Nathan was hoping for since he’d rather have a chance to pursue something new with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) than try to make things work with Maxie after all these years.

Liesl may soon catch a glimpse of Nathan and Lulu in a cozy moment. Then again, maybe Nathan could flat-out tell Obrecht that he’s falling for Lulu and push her to accept that he’s no longer meant to be with Maxie.

Regardless, once Lulu gets past all her hesitancy, she’ll head down this risky road with Nathan. Liesl isn’t going to approve, so she may determine that she needs to blow up Nathan’s romance with Lulu before she can push him back toward Maxie.

Naturally, Obrecht may try to sabotage Maxie and Spinelli’s relationship as well. GH fans may see Liesl spiral out of control in the matchmaking department and deliver some entertaining schemes in the process.
