GH Spoilers: Nathan Spills the Tea About Lulu To His Mother — But Will She Stand For It?

General Hospital Spoilers: Nathan Spills the Tea About Lulu To His Mother — But Will She Stand For It?General Hospital spoilers spill Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) is scheduled to have a frank discussion with his mother, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), this Friday.

If you thought the last time around with them was the end of it, stay tuned. Liesl is bound to be unhappy with whatever Nathan has to say, but it might also send her reeling even more than last time.

Recall that she was rather frantic when she ran to Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) office demanding that she help her talk some sense into Nathan. If Liesl thinks she’s going to have to fix this on her own, she might actually end up being more of an enemy than an ally to her own son.

Ripping the Bandaid Off

Nathan is ready to move forward with exploring his feelings for Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening). The last thing he wants to hear is that it isn’t a good idea.

Might Liesl advocate for Lulu here and suggest that Nathan is being rather selfish in expecting Lulu to be the one to tell Maxie, and further to expect her to pursue this at all?

Maxie has already set him free as her husband, but she isn’t expecting to lose the loyalty of her best friend at the same time.

Expect Liesl to push back hard when Nathan makes it clear that he is not only not pursuing his marriage to Maxie, but he’s interested in the very last woman he should be as her replacement in his life.

Liesl Launches a Counter Attack

Liesl is one tough cookie, and smart as a whip. It’s unlikely that she’ll take this lying down, but she’s also going to have a tougher time than expected rounding up anyone to help her go against Nathan’s wishes.

Enter Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). While it sounded idyllic when Nathan confided in Nina about his feelings for Lulu, and she advised him to follow his heart at that time, that was before Maxie woke up.

Everything is different now, and Nina might agree with Liesl that it’s not worth destroying their relationships — especially when Nathan can’t risk jeopardizing his new role in James West’s (Gary James Fuller) life.

Things Aren’t Always What They Seem

If this were any normal couple and the mother wasn’t interested in the woman her son had chosen, we might expect some similar drama.

But in this case, not only do Lulu and Liesl have a rather sordid past because of Britt’s background with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), but Nathan isn’t exactly himself either.

The question is: Which one of them is going to notice it first? It doesn’t seem like it’s hit Lulu yet that while rumors are swirling that Lulu’s investigative skills are going to come in handy tracking down what happened to Nathan during those seven years he’s missing, that doesn’t mean it won’t be Liesl who tips her off to start asking questions in the first place.

Anything to slow down this romance! Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.
