Valentin’s Surprise
At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house, Carly tells Valentin he should have given her a head’s up, and Valentin tells her it would have ruined the surprise!
What kind of surprise might Valentin have planned for Carly, or is he just being tongue-in-cheek silly like he often is?
But it’s quite clear that Valentin and Carly continue to bond and become closer, even if it may be an inappropriate time when they don’t need the distractions!
They intend to follow through with their partnership and their mission, regardless of what happens. Time is of the essence to make sure that their daughters are both safe!
Tracy’s Interrogation
In the meantime, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is at the Quartermaine mansion, interrogating her granddaughter, Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton)!
It’s obvious they’re discussing Brook Lynn and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) trying to become the foster parents for baby Jane Doe, who Brook Lynn calls Phoebe.
Tracy asks a rather odd question, as she implies Brook Lynn is trying to get around a problem by using the baby; “are you using this baby as a way to get past them?”
Chase and Brook Lynn have decided that they want to pursue adoption again, and then this baby happened when they tried to play heroes.
Is it the adoption agency that Tracy might be referring to, that they’re trying to “get past?”
Britt Delivers A Warning
Still at the piers, waiting on Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to arrive, Britt delivers a warning to Lucas Jones, (Van Hansis) as unbeknownst to them, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) was observing!
Lucas has just delivered two vials of the Huntington’s Disease medication to Britt, and Britt is warning him Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) isn’t the only one he needs to be worried about!
She’s quite obviously going to warn him about Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and more than likely, Pascal (Marc Forget) as well.
Little do they know that Britt, too, is in the line of fire as they talk, waiting for Jason who’s detained.
Will Rocco be in danger as well, or has he left the piers where he was watching their conversation?
Sidwell Pressures Laura
In the meantime, at the mayor’s office, Sidwell is pressuring Mayor Laura Collins, (Genie Francis) and she doesn’t look happy at all!
Sidwell thinks he’s done her a favor, as he magnanimously smiles and bows, telling her the words she is looking for are “Thank You!”
Sidwell is likely to get anything but thanks, as she looks more like she’s going to give him a swift kick you know where!
Blackmail or not, there are just so many things that Laura cannot abide, and Sidwell is certainly one of them.

Nathan Thwarts Brennan
In Jason’s old room over Kelly’s, where Britt had previously been staying, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) interrupts Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) who’s looking for Britt.
Nathan asked what Brennan was doing in his sister’s room, hand on gun and not pleased! Brennan tells Nathan he has to find her asap, but it’s obvious Nathan doesn’t trust him.
Brennan may have the right motives and intentions, but time is of the essence and doesn’t have time to explain to Nathan.
Nathan doesn’t trust him any more than he trusts Cullum, and he’s going to thwart Brennan’s “mission”!
Dante Makes A Promise
In the meantime, back at the stadium, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is still with Jason, and presumably, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
They were there to watch Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) at his school basketball game, even if he was just sitting on the bench and not called to play!
It sounds like Jason wants Dante to find Danny before he tries to bring him to the PCPD for questioning.
Jason just told Danny he was going out of town and he couldn’t come with him, but is Jason sincere, or using finding Danny as a distraction so he can get away?
Dante tells him, “I’ll do it man, I’ll find your kid!”
