‘GH’ Spoilers Monday, July 13: Brennan Warns Carly, Britt Faces Lucas, BLQ’s Marriage Hits Breaking Point

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, July 13 tease Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) runs into Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) while Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) catches up with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud.

Plus, at the Quartermaine house, Harrison and Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Josh Swickard, Amanda Setton) continue to argue.

Jack Runs Into Carly

Jack runs into Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) at General Hospital, where he gives her a bit of advice. Jack tells her concerning something, “That is always a mistake”.

No doubt she confronts him about Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) nearly getting killed in the line of WSB duty!

Carly looks angry although Jack looks “professional”, so the topic is testy, and Jack seems to mean his advice as a well-meaning warning.

Carly’s told many people who have no business knowing that Josslyn is a WSB agent, that she is-perhaps that’s what Jack’s addressing.

Elizabeth Thinks Something’s Brilliant

It looks like there may be a General Hospital board meeting going on as Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) makes a comment.

She’s in scrubs, and she smiles, as she tells another person ”Having you fill the sixteenth seat on the hospital board is brilliant!” 

Who might Elizabeth be talking to that she thinks will be such a perfect fit? The hospital board can be a prestigious place to be, but it can also be a contentious place at times.

Lucas Catches Up With Britt

At Bobbie’s, Lucas is still shaking his head over Britt having been gaslit with placebos and blackmailed to work on a very dangerous project.

He also seems to be shaking his head over her being released from jail-did she get all her charges dropped? He seems to be confused as he questions, “So now that you know this, you don’t have anything to do with it?”

Britt seemed confused as well when Detective Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) told her she was free to go after asking questions about the syringes filled with saline! He gave her some cash which also surprised her, after she told him she didn’t have anywhere to go from jail!

Tracy Lashes Out

Also at the hospital is Tracy Quartermaine, (Jane Elliot) who lashes out at someone, yelling, “Are you out of your mind?” 

Perhaps she’s reacting to the choice for filling a board seat that Elizabeth seems so happy about!

Tracy is on the hospital board and has been for ages, the Quartermaine family always being big donors, with two deceased members having practiced medicine at GH for years. Obviously, the new board member is not someone Tracy approves of!

Brook Lynn And Chase Argue

At the Quartermaine house, Brook Lynn and Chase continue to argue, after she confessed that she tried to frame Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) to make Chase quit rescuing her!

Chase looks angry as she asks him if she pushed him towards Willow, which will likely spur questions about whether she really trusts him.

Brook Lynn’s plot to frame Willow for leaving the scene of Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) wreck, if not being the one who caused it, has backfired spectacularly!

This sounds like the worst fight that Chase and Brook Lynn have had in a very long time. Will the couple be able to work it out?

Anna Seems Suspicious

At Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) condo, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) showed up, after catching up with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and her sending him with a message.

She’s shocked as she asks, “How in the hell do you know that”; considering they haven’t seen each other for a couple of years.

Indeed, she may be wondering how he knows where she lives now, although he may be referring to what happened to her.

Valentin has been keeping tabs on her the whole time she was in the French clinic, once she was found and it was exposed she wasn’t on a WSB mission!
