‘GH’ Spoilers Monday, August 31: Charlotte’s Shocking Dive, Ava’s Warning, Carly & Valentin Plot

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, August 31 tease Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) makes a deep dive, while Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) make plans.

In the meantime, in the Metro Court Restaurant, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) calls for a compromise between Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

Charlotte’s Deep Dive

For some reason, Charlotte decides to take a swim in the dark Metro Court Pool after hours, the sign clearly says the pool is closed.

She jumps in anyway, and she literally takes a deep dive, swimming along the bottom. General Hospital spoilers say that Charlotte will be alarmed-does someone find her where she shouldn’t be and startle her?

Or does she find something she’d rather not see, or worse yet, someone? In Tuesday’s episode, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) will reassure Charlotte-just what does she find in the bottom of that pool?

Ava Delivers A Warning

After dumping a crushed sleeping pill into Jack Brennan’s (Chris L. McKenna) drink to distract him while Drew was supposed to be looking in his room, Ava delivers a warning.

She’ll also have to leap to action, but for now, she just says she has to give him a warning. Jack is not shown in the clip, so presumably, he just has gotten back to the table after taking a phone call in Friday’s episode, which was when Ava spiked his drink.

Perhaps she gives him a warning that his drink might knock him out real quick, and fakes she’s had experience with the brand!

Valentin And Carly Make Plans

In the meantime, Valentin and Carly are in her office, where Jack has just left after a tense conversation with the two of them.

But now the subject changes to Drew, and she says “And when Drew makes a mistake”-and Valentin finishes the sentence.

He says “We capitalize on it”. Drew, Valentin, and Sonny will all be competing in the auction of Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) properties; they may be discussing the auction.

They already had their say with Jack, who by now has returned, presumably, to Ava’s table.

They’ll continue to discuss their plans concerning Drew, in the meantime, oblivious to Charlotte’s potentially disturbing discovery in the pool!

Laura Calls For A Compromise

In the meantime, in the Metro Court Restaurant, Laura is at a table with Drew and Sonny-it sounds like Drew is considerably delayed where breaking into Jack’s suite is concerned!

Laura asks the two of them to compromise, and hopes that someone will bow. But what is she asking them to compromise on-is this still about the Sidwell auction, or something else?

Drew has finagled himself back into Aurora, while Sonny is focusing on legitimate business, and wants to expand Corinthos Coffee.  Perhaps they’re arguing over Sonny’s piers he’s trying to get back?

Dante Talks To Britt In The Metro Court Gardens

Also in the Metro Court Gardens, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

As they talk, their subject matter must be Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr); Dante asks Britt if there’s something she knows that maybe he should.

Also in this episode, other GH spoilers point to Dante and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening)  coming to an understanding.

Might that understanding be Rocco being able to have a relationship with his surrogate mother Britt freely? Might Lulu realize that she’s driving her son away by not allowing it?
