GH Spoilers: Michael Gains The Upper Hand On Willow

General Hospital spoilers hint Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) may finally gain the upper hand on Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen).

The two are on the cusp of another custody battle for their kids, and while hope looks grim for Michael, it sounds like things may turn around during the week of August 10. Let’s talk about it!

A Faux Pas Leads To A Breakthrough

General Hospital spoilers note that a war is about to rage between Willow and Michael, thanks to Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell).

During the week of August 3, Jacinda stupidly placed drugs into Willow’s iced coffee while at Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) condo, conducting some assistant duties for the Crimson editor.

Willow ended up drinking the beverage while she was spending time with Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sienna Goerisch). In fact, Wiley almost took a sip of the drink, but thankfully he was stopped by his mom before doing so.

Jacinda will tell Michael what she did, but it also looks like Nina and Willow will figure out what happened.

Sadly, the mother-daughter team may think this was Michael’s plan all along, even though he had no idea Jacinda was going to pull such a reckless stunt.

In the aftermath of this all, Willow will be more determined than ever to gain full-time custody of Amelia and Wiley, but she may be stopped in her tracks.

Michael Corinthos Is Saved

The General Hospital preview for the week of August 10 shows Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) at the Quartermaine mansion. Trina tells Michael that they can help him “stop her.”

The ‘her’ they are likely talking about is Willow. After all, Kai and Trina know that Willow shot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and lied about it.

While she can’t be convicted due to the double jeopardy ruling, Willow will lose leverage on Michael where custody is concerned. She would also lose her seat in Congress.

Trina and Kai have known that Willow was Drew’s shooter for a while now and have not stepped forward because of fear, they’d face repercussions for being in the house without Drew’s consent.

Still, can Michael come up with a plan to blackmail Willow with what he knows, but also protect Trina and Kai from Willow’s wrath?
