GH Spoilers: Maxie Calls BS, “That’s NOT My Husband”

General Hospital fans have been patiently waiting for Maxie Jones to wake up from her coma and be reunited with her not-so-dead husband Nathan West (Ryan Paevey). 

Sure, she’s technically in a relationship with Spinelli, but those minor details can be ironed out later.  But, what if Maxie’s reunion with Nathan goes ANOTHER way?

Is Nathan West An Impostor

Since Ryan Paevey returned to Port Charles last year, rumors have been circulating that Nathan West could be an impostor. 

The General Hospital writers average one or two impostors a year and the soap is about due.  It’s been a while since someone on GH peeled off a rubber mask and revealed their true identity.

Everyone in Nathan’s life is thrilled to have him back from the dead, especially Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins). 

Nobody is even entertaining the idea that the man might not be who he says he is.  But, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) hasn’t met him yet.

No One Knows Nathan Like His Wife

According to General Hospital spoilers, when Maxie wakes up from her coma her family will try to keep the shocking news from her temporarily. 

She missed a LOT since she was poisoned nine months ago and could be overwhelmed by all of the information.

Plus, we don’t know if Maxie is even stable when she wakes up.  The doctors will want to run tests and probably advise her family not to get her worked up until she gets a clean bill of health. 

Rumor has it Nathan’s widow will have a long road to recovery ahead of her, and might even be experiencing some memory loss.

Eventually, Maxie and Nathan (or whoever he is) are going to come face to face.  In fact, they probably have a lot of paperwork to do since they are still legally married. 

General Hospital spoilers hint Maxie could notice something is “off” with Nathan and even question if he is the real deal.  She knows him better than anyone in Port Charles, will she spot a clue that he’s an impostor?
