GH Spoilers: Kelly Thiebaud Teases Cassius Reveal, Heartbreak For Obrecht

General Hospital viewers have been trying to figure out if Dr. Liesl Obrecht knows her son Nathan West is an impostor for weeks now. 

When Cassius Faison’s twin twist was revealed, nobody could figure out if his mother was in on the swap. 

According to Kelly Thiebaud, Obrecht is going to be just as shocked as everyone else.  Here’s what’s happening next week on GH, spoilers down below.

Obrecht Really Doesn’t Know About Cassius

We’ve been on the fence about Dr. Obrecht’s involvement in her sons’ swap since we learned Cassius Faison existed. 

How could you not know that you gave birth to another baby?  More importantly, if she did know that she had twins how come she can’t tell them apart?  

Some General Hospital rumors even hinted that Dr. Obrecht might have orchestrated the entire charade with Cassius so that she could still be in her grandson James West’s life. 

Now that the inevitable twin reveal is getting closer, Kelly Thiebaud is speaking out and according to her, Obrecht is completely in the dark!

Liesl Will Be Devastated Britt Lied To Her

In a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest Kelly Thiebaud dished, “I’m not looking forward to my mother [Obrecht] finding out that I knew about all of this!  That’s not gonna be fun!”

Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) was overjoyed on General Hospital when her son Nathan West returned from the dead.  What mother wouldn’t be?  After mourning her son for eight years, he walked right back in to her life. 

According to GH spoilers, it’s going to be devastating when she learns that it’s not Nathan after all.

Plus, her own daughter Britt Westbourne knew the truth about Cassius and let her mother think Nathan was alive.  On the other hand, at least Obrecht will have a new son to get to know.
