GH Spoilers: Kelly Thiebaud Teases Britt’s Next Chapter – Ready To Move On From Jason?

General Hospital spoilers and updates indicate that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) has been facing numerous challenges recently.

Alongside her efforts to protect Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), Britt is under immense pressure to finalize a risky prototype for Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) cold fusion initiative.

This Has All Been Extremely Stressful For Britt

Managing all of this has been quite stressful for Britt, especially as she navigates her complicated medication situation and the frequent conflicts with Cassius Faison, aka  “Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey), on any given day.

It’s understandable why Britt has chosen to leave Port Charles and confront her Huntington’s diagnosis, but unexpected developments are on the horizon.

Britt still has a role to play in this series, and Kelly Thiebaud recently shared her thoughts with SOD about what that future may entail.

After recognizing that Britt “can’t catch a break,” Thiebaud expressed a desire for Britt’s life to settle down a little. Britt has been in a state of constant panic for what seems like an eternity, but there is potential for change.

Kelly Hopes Things Can Settle Down For Britt, And Get Safer

“I hope her life can become less stressful, chaotic, and life-threatening,” Thiebaud expressed. “I wish for her to experience a bit of ease and enjoyment-and perhaps even find love soon!”

Britt and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) romance came to an abrupt end when the WSB took him away to a secret location in Jakarta.

Now, Britt is left uncertain about whether she will ever reunite with Jason and resume their relationship.

While we know that Steve Burton is scheduled to return to filming in June, it doesn’t guarantee that his love story with Britt will carry on.

The ABC Soap Could Craft New Romances For Britt And Jason

Even if Britt and Jason attempt to rekindle their romance, there’s a chance that the GH writers might explore new romantic avenues for both characters. There have been whispers about Britt potentially finding a new love interest in the near future.

Although there’s no official word on that yet, the buzz behind the scenes indicates that Britt might develop feelings for someone other than Jason and possibly take a different romantic route.

After all, Kelly Thiebaud hasn’t confirmed if her next love interest will be Jason, it could very well be someone else, perhaps even a new character entirely.

When Thiebaud mentioned “maybe even some love soon” for Britt, she could have been hinting at an entirely different romantic plot.
