GH Spoilers: Kayden Brenna Tokarski Teases Scout Recast, Is She Next Sam McCall?

This week on General Hospital, the soap introduced up-and-coming actress Kayden Brenna Tokarski as the new Scout Cain.

The SORAS (soap opera rapid aging syndrome) recast recently dished on her new role, and talked about whether Scout will follow in her mother Sam McCall’s footsteps.  Keep reading to see what Tokarski had to say!

The New Scout Arrives

General Hospital spoilers actually confirmed last month that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) daughter would be aged several years and played by a new actress.

So, Kayden Brenna Tokarski’s arrival in Port Charles isn’t a shock to fans.  However, it is going to take some time to get used to Scout as a teenager.

This is reportedly Tokarski’s first major acting gig, but she’s no stranger to Port Charles and revealed in a recent interview that she’s been watching for a few years.  She actually watched Scout’s “death” on the soap a few years ago!

New Scout Talks Sam McCall Comparisons

Before Kayden Brenna Tokarski even arrived on the soap opera, her casting photos began making their rounds on the web.

GH fans were thrilled that the actress looked so much like her on-screen mother, fan fave Sam McCall.

In a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest, the new General Hospital cast member discussed all the chatter about Scott following in her mom Sam’s footsteps.  Do we need to get her a leather coat?

Tokarski dished, “I think Scout is her own person.  But I do think there are many similarities [between Scout and Sam]. I think she’s a strong fighter, and I think she is smart and funny.”
