Did Eric Deserve The Punch In His Face?
That’s what a lot of fans can’t help but wonder when it comes to Eric Forrester (John McCook). He accidentally got punched in the face by Will Spencer (Crew Morrow), but according to a lot of fans out there, he certainly had it coming.
That’s because he’s been anything but a ‘nice guy’ as he’s certainly fueled the fire between the Forrester and the Spencer and Logan families.
Not only that, but there are also a lot of fans out there who are none too pleased with the way that he berated Katie Logan. As much as Eric doesn’t want drama, he certainly does create a lot of it.
Of course, the internet had a lot to say about where this storyline is headed on social media.
Some even commented with, “I don’t feel bad for Eric getting knocked out. I honestly don’t have any sympathy for Eric getting (accidentally) punched in the face, because he had it coming, especially after berating Katie and the entire Logan family.”
What’s Really Going On With Eric Forrester?
Another critic wrote, “I don’t either! He’s 80! Why get involved in the middle of two 20-year olds in a physical fight?! He got himself hurt.”
“Eric should have stayed out of it. I’m 70 and I’m sure not going to get in the middle of 2 kids going at it like that. Old fool.”
And then there was this comment as well: “It was nice seeing him get knocked out. I don’t care how old he is. He stepped in, and has already been running his mouth enough as it is.”
“The only thing that would have been better would be for Will to have dropped RJ with a Stone Cold Stunner instead. Well, I had that in my mind while I was watching it.”
Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
