General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that there is a ton of juicy online gossip being shared about newcomer Wil Traval, the Australian actor who recently debuted as Jude.
He made a big impression (for some fans, good; for others, not so much) when he popped up at the Brown Dog and proceeded to out-nerve The Britch (Kelly Thiebaud).
As Jude’s intriguing encounter with Britt continues to raise questions, let’s unpack the impression he made and why some fans are convinced he’s a member of the Jacks family!
Who Is Jude?
Yes, that was a wisp of an Aussie accent you heard. An Australian in Port Charles with a “J” name could only mean one thing, right? Maybe.
Jerry Jacks and Jasper “Jax” Jacks have both made their mark in the little town by the docks. Could Jude be yet another Jacks family import? Definitely maybe!
Is Jude Related to Josslyn?
Jude certainly displayed the famous Jacks charm as he hit on Britt, who was a very willing participant in their charged banter.
The first clue that he could be a Jacks is his objection to using the anonymous one-night-stand names Jane and John.
Those are the names of Jax’s parents, and one wouldn’t want to be calling out Mommy’s name in bed, would they?
Why Object to Jane?
Or, if Jude is not a sibling to Jerry and Jax, he could still be in the family tree, given speculation that he is Hudson’s boss.
Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) is an employee of JJE, and as we’ve previously explored, Josslyn’s involvement with the family business has raised plenty of questions.
We know he’s not Jax, since Britt knows him. Besides, why would Jax go to the trouble of getting plastic surgery to come back to Port Charles? That makes no sense.
Will Britt Be in Danger?
Is Jude Jax or Jerry’s secret son? Maybe. The writers are obviously leaving their options open.
One thing is certain: Jude has the devil-may-care, smooth charm of the Jacks men.
As soon as he set eyes on Britt, he knew what he wanted. A bit of buttering up, and she was ready to have a fling with a stranger using fake names.
As Jude’s mysterious identity continues to generate speculation, will this encounter come back to bite Britt?

Then again, Jude could be a plant from Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
