GH Spoilers: Jordan’s Condition Worsens – Brain Injury Behind Explosive Behavior?

General Hospital spoilers and updates suggest that Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) might be dealing with an undisclosed brain issue that has led to her recent outbursts.

Ever since she regained consciousness after her car accident in the hospital, she hasn’t seemed like her usual self.

Is It PTSD, Or Something Much Worse?

Some might argue that she is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); however, could there be an alternative reason?

The first sign of concern was Jordan’s response to her friend, Acting District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor), who came to see her in the hospital.

Justine brought flowers. And although Jordan didn’t explode at her, it was peculiar that she wouldn’t even let her have a short visit.

In fact, she appeared somewhat impolite, but given what she had endured, Justine was understanding. Jordan promptly requested Justine to leave her room, stating that she wasn’t in the mood for company.

Justine Left, Feeling Awful-Jordan Just Isn’t Herself!

Justine hurriedly departed, feeling awful, yet the whole situation left General Hospital fans unsettled as it was so out of character for Jordan.

Fast forward to the episode on Tuesday, April 21, and Jordan continued to exhibit traits that were far from her usual demeanor. She displayed a certain coldness when interacting with her hospital advocate, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner).

That being said, her response to Isaiah Gannon (Swandi Wilson) during their conversation was nothing short of shocking. The doctor tried to provide some uplifting thoughts regarding reconstructive surgery, but Jordan lashed out at him.

Jordan Broke Down In Tears, Terrified-So Unlike Her!

This reaction was so intense that it sent Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) into a frenzy, prompting him to warn Isaiah to keep his distance from his girlfriend.

When Jordan encountered Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) in a hospital corridor, she didn’t hold back and was quite harsh with Curtis’s ex-wife.

Although Portia can be somewhat petty at times, viewers could see that she genuinely wanted to assist Jordan in her current predicament, but Jordan was not receptive.

Jordan appears to be very preoccupied with her facial injuries; she broke down in tears after catching a glimpse of herself in the mirror.

She also expressed to Curtis how terrifying it was to see the state of her face – after all, it’s how others will perceive her.

Jordan Became Livid At Isaiah’s Suggestions

Indeed, while Isaiah’s comments about her reconstructive facial surgery were meant to encourage her and instill hope, it was the mention of these procedures that ignited Jordan’s anger.

Jordan’s car accident nearly took her life-she should feel thankful for surviving, but it’s completely normal for her to have these feelings.

As Jordan noted, reconstructive surgeries can take years to fix someone’s face, indicating that she understands the long recovery process ahead.

However, are Jordan’s feelings stemming from PTSD, or is there something deeper? Jordan is not just upset; she is furious and has directed her anger towards Portia and Isaiah.

Could Jordan’s Anger Create Issues With Curtis?

 It seems that if pushed, she might soon show these traits to those close to her. Could this create issues in her relationship with Curtis?

That being said, is it possible that the car accident led to the development of a tumor in her brain-could there be a neurological issue causing Jordan’s outbursts? Naturally, as Jordan heals and her family supports her, they will anticipate both good and bad days.

Yet, will her behavior start to raise concerns if it deteriorates over time-will anyone think this is more than just PTSD?

General Hospital spoilers indicate that brain injuries have previously led to significant character changes, transforming heroes into villains and the other way around, so will Jordan’s character become darker as time goes on?
