General Hospital (GH) spoilers imply that once Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) finds out about Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) jab mishap, he may plan to keep Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) in a “locked-in” state for the days and weeks to come. Let’s talk about this interesting May sweeps plot twist below.
Jenz Sidwell’s Mess To Clean Up
The General Hospital preview for the week of May 11 shows Sidwell at Wyndemere telling someone unknown that “they” have a mess on their hands.
As fans know, Sidwell was the one who gave Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) the drugs that placed Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in the current state he’s in.
Sidwell doesn’t have a heart when it comes to strangers or employees, so he’ll be looking to ensure this situation doesn’t get any stickier than it needs to be.
On Friday, May 8, GH fans saw Nina accidentally jab Brennan with Drew’s meds. She was actually trying to help Brennan, as Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was literally gunning for him.
It looked as if Nina was aiming to stop Valentin with the syringe, but hit Brennan by accident instead. Now she, along with Willow and Sidwell, is in quite a pickle.
The last thing anyone wants is for someone to connect the dots and realize that the medication in Brennan’s system is linked to his stroke-like condition.
Still, with all of this going down in Drew’s house, will someone become suspicious?
Another Plot Twist
To add to the messiness, it looks like Drew will call 9-1-1 in the aftermath of all this.
As he hasn’t received his medication, he’ll slowly seep out of his “locked-in” state and gather enough strength to dial a number, and whether he calls 9-1-1 – or someone else – Brennan will end up in the hospital.
Brennan doesn’t have any family, and he and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) aren’t dating anymore, so there’s a good chance the WSB steps in to become his medical power of attorney.
If that’s the case, WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) – who is partners with Sidwell – will take care of the situation.
It’s very possible that Cullum swoops in and transports Brennan to a WSB facility, or even just Wyndemere, and keeps Brennan “locked in” until he and Sidwell are done with Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project.
Brennan was snooping into the investigation as it was and becoming a thorn in Cullum’s side, so eliminating this threat would be the perfect scenario for both him and Sidwell. But could Brennan escape this predicament?
