GH Spoilers: Jenz Blames and Shames Sonny at Marco’s Funeral – Is Kristina in Danger?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) plays with fire by attending Marco Rios’ (Adrian Anchondo) funeral. What is he thinking?

Either Sonny genuinely wants to pay his respects to grieving father Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), or he wants to reiterate that he is not the one who murdered Marco.

Marco’s Funeral Brings Chaos

Sonny could want to genuinely assure Sidwell that he didn’t kill Marco, and at the same time tamp down any revenge wars. He certainly doesn’t want Jenz to target his own kids in retaliation.

Whatever the reason, we predict that the appearance angers Sidwell and prompts him to threaten Sonny.

Will Sonny Cause a Mess?

Will Sidwell unleash his fury on Sonny for having the nerve to show up at Marco’s service? Let’s put it this way—we don’t think he will let it go, let alone welcome him.

Jenz is convinced that Sonny is responsible for his son’s death. Ironically, Marco saved Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi) by rescuing her from a burning building. When that happened Jenz was unhappy that Sonny’s daughter put his son at risk.

In other words there is longstanding bad blood between the two men and that doesn’t look about to change anytime soon.

Will Jenz Pull a Trick?

However, there is a third possibility for Sonny’s presence and it could have to do with Sidwell extending an invite.

Not that he wants him to be his guest, conversely, Sidwell could be planning to excoriate Sonny in front of Port Charles’ finest.

Will Jenz Shame Sonny?

Sidwell is beside himself with grief, as any parent would be. Making the death of his son all the more heartbreaking was the gruesome way in which Marco died.

He was stabbed to death to such a great degree that an unmistakable message was sent, presumably that one of Sidwell’s enemies did the deed to punish him. That’s why Jenz thinks Sonny is involved.

Will Sonny be at Marco’s Funeral?

If Sidwell goes on a rant he could reveal that Marco loathed Sonny for his part in his mom, Natalia Ramirez’s (Eva LaRue), demise.

We predict that Sidwell could then promise to make Sonny pay despite Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) being the murderer.

Spoilers indicate that Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) will be there to referee but he can’t change how Jenz feels.
