GH Spoilers: Jack Rushes to Save Josslyn — Does Carly Finally See Him Differently?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) should’ve known what he was getting into when he recruited Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) into the WSB.

She is the daughter of Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), after all. Carly’s zest for resisting authority and going her own way is clearly a trait Joss picked up on in her formative years.

Despite Jack’s insistence that she lie low and act like she’s not a WSB agent, Joss has gone rogue and skipped off to Spoon Island to do a little investigating on the side.

Running into Director Ross Collum (Andrew Hawkes) is the last thing she expected in the living room of Wyndemere.

Could a snowstorm keep Jack away from Spoon Island, or will he get wind of Joss’ little expedition and swoop in to save her from the WSB’s head honcho?

A Risky Rescue Mission

Joss’ decision to brave the snowmageddon on her own, shut down the power supply to all of Spoon Island, and force everyone off it so she could snoop around blew up in her face when she crept into the creepy manor only to discover she wasn’t alone.

She’s not exactly in good company either. It seems Collum is onto her, and Jack was the first to warn her that he shouldn’t even become aware of her existence. Whoops!

Now, Jack may have to weather the same storm as well as deal with the boss man while trying to keep his girlfriend’s daughter safe.

GH Spoilers Say Jack’s Lips Were Sealed

Jack was intent on never letting Collum find out about Carly’s daughter, much less that he had her working as an agent under him. It’s hard to say whether that’s some kind of conflict of interest. Could this result in a penalty for Jack?

Might it lead to Joss being reassigned under someone else who won’t have any of her safety or best interests in mind and definitely won’t care what Carly thinks of it?

This Could Change Everything

So far, Jack has been teeing up betrayal after betrayal for Carly. She was devastated that he used her to get to her daughter, and for a while, she really wanted to believe both things were true.

Could he have plotted to lure Joss into the WSB but also truly fallen for Carly, or has he been playing her the entire time and she fell for it? Her ego, nor her heart, like that explanation.

If Joss is in real danger with Collum, and Jack risks himself to save her, it could lead to disclosure to Carly that never would’ve happened otherwise. It could also lead to Joss advocating for him, which might shift Carly’s stance.
