GH Spoilers: Jack & Jason Drift From Carly – Is Sonny About To Pull Her Back In?

General Hospital spoilers report Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is about to experience a tremendous loss.

First, it looks like she’s going to really let Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) have it. It might finally be time to tell him the truth — that she knows everything and is ready to destroy him.

On top of that, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is leaving town and she doesn’t know when or if she will see him again.

That’s going to free up time and space in Carly’s daily life, and perhaps some room in her heart too?

Don’t get me wrong, it’s clear that she has some kind of interest in Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), but that’s not a sustainable relationship avenue right now as there is a constant threat he’ll be shipped back to Steinmauer.

But Sonny Corinthos (Maurice abenard) could be waiting on the wings to make it all better. Yes, again.

Jason and Carly are Nowhere Near Ready

The fan base might be ready for Carly and Jason to get that reboot we’ve been dreaming of ever since Sonny busted up their honeymoon on their wedding night just as things were about to get really good, but it seems we’re going to be waiting a bit longer.

Jason is about to bid her farewell until July, and his heart is tied up with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) right now anyway.

Carly’s Compassion Shows No Bounds

Now that Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) has her sights set on seeking revenge on Sonny, we can reasonably expect Carly to be stuck between the rock and hard place of protecting both her daughter and her ex-husband, the father of her other children.

That’s going to be a tall order. I can see how she and Sonny may lean on each other to try to get through this family squabble, which could turn dangerous given Joss’ line of work.

Sonny Might Have Some Stiff Competition

While this sounds like the perfect opportunity for Carly and Sonny to reunite for the first time in years, it may not be that simple.

Sure, Valentin is hardly a free man. He can’t even take Carly on a date. But there’s something about the side of him she’s only con to know in his time hiding out at her place that has her hooked.

Will another chance with Sonny pull her away from whatever she started with the Cassadine cassanova, or will Valentin be too much allure to pass up? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.
