GH Spoilers: It’s Misery In Port Charles With Drew Locked In And Willow Playing Nursemaid

General Hospital Spoilers: It's Misery In Port Charles With Drew Locked In And Willow Playing NursemaidGeneral Hospital spoilers gossip Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) condition seems to be aligning with the exact outcome Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) had hoped he would suffer.

She now has him in the palm of her hand. Willow is going to be in control of every decision for Drew’s care, and he won’t be able to advocate for himself.

Meanwhile, he’s likely to know that she is the one who put him in this condition in the first place, and he’s probably going to connect the dots back to her being his shooter, too.

As Willow channels her inner Kathy Bates, Drew will be confined to a bed or chair with his thoughts, and plenty of time to self-reflect on the man he has become. Will this experience soften him, or turn him even more ruthless?

The Treatment He Deserves

Willow was very precise when speaking with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). She wasn’t confused about her feelings for Drew. She was just trying to make sure he got the treatment he deserves.

Those choice words hit Nina like a lightning bolt, and it’s starting to look like she might figure out a bit of what her daughter is up to before we even see Drew again.

If Nina realizes Willow is in this to torture Drew, will she work alongside her to stick it to him, too, or will she try to convince her daughter to set herself free and move on with her life?

We Don’t Need a Ryan Repeat

Remember a few years back when Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Linstrom) was in Ferncliff and diagnosed with Locked In Syndrome? He couldn’t move. He was paralyzed, including his vocal cords. He could speak, and wasn’t the slightest bit confused, albeit psychotic.

In Drew’s case, he may present with much more confusion. He might not even remember what happened before he collapsed. A stroke is no joke and can impact cognitive ability a great deal.

So Drew’s physical recovery might be a major concern right now, but it’s possible his mind won’t be all there either. Will Willow use that to her advantage, or does she want him to remember what happened and know how trapped he is?

An Eye for an Eye

Willow was humiliated on her wedding day after hearing Drew confess at the altar — only after she confronted him — that he had slept with her mother.

She has been seeking revenge ever since, and marrying him only to use him to get her kids back while she removes everything of quality from his life might have seemed like the best way to do that.

But she had to have known that after she married him, he would never let her go, as Nina said to Ava Jerome (Maura West). So maybe her escape plan was always that if she wasn’t sent to prison, she would make sure he was imprisoned in his own body?

This chapter in Willow and Drew’s story is shaping up to be a real page turner. Keep checking back with us every day for more GH news and spoilers.
