GH Spoilers: Is Steve Burton Auditioning for Hallmark, In A  Shocking Pivot?

General Hospital Spoilers: Is Steve Burton Auditioning for Hallmark, In A  Shocking Pivot?General Hospital spoilers and updates indicate that many fans have observed a noticeable change since Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) made his return to Port Charles and reconnected with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

The dramatic tension that we typically expect from the show seems to have vanished, replaced instead by a cheerful, TV movie atmosphere.

Some Fans Are Complaining About This Change In Jason

Is Steve Burton essentially auditioning for a Hallmark film at this stage, considering instead of Stone Cold we have syrupy sweet?

The General Hospital star has undergone a surprising transformation in various ways since Jason’s return from the WSB black site prison in Jakarta.

Naturally, it’s understandable that Jason would be impacted by such a harrowing experience, and it was teased that he may even suffer some post traumatic stress.

No one is downplaying the severity of what Jason endured, as it was undoubtedly quite traumatic.

Nevertheless, Jason’s evolution has led to a significant change that some viewers are not in favor of.

Jason Out Of The Mob Seems Boring

Now that Jason has chosen to leave the mob behind, he is shifting towards less thrilling narratives and more heartwarming moments reminiscent of Hallmark films, particularly those he has been enjoying with Britt.

Some fans expressed their discontent regarding Jason’s swift forgiveness of Britt’s dishonesty concerning Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey). Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) informed Jason that Britt had revealed her identity as a WSB agent and accused Britt of endangering her.

Cassius had a violent encounter with Josslyn, taking her hostage at Wyndemere.

While it’s true that Cassius rescued Josslyn from Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) attempts on her life, Britt still betrayed Joss by informing her deceitful brother.

Josslyn Told Jason That Britt Lied To Him And Everyone Else

Josslyn also recounted to Jason how Britt had misled him and everyone else regarding Cassius’ impersonation scheme.

Britt was aware that Cassius was pretending to be Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and not the genuine article, yet she chose to remain silent.

These were significant betrayals, but Jason ultimately accepted them with surprising calmness-much like a Hallmark prince or a devoted romantic lead in a TV movie!

Jason forgave Britt for her deceit, allowing them to start anew with a heartfelt embrace. Sadly, it seems that the spark in Britt and Jason’s romance has faded at this stage.

The ‘JaBritt’ Sizzle Has Turned To A Fizzle!

Once, Jason and Britt shared an undeniable spark, but that flame has since flickered out.

This could be attributed to the drama dissipating from their narrative, making way for the Hallmark-style transformations that have taken place! Is it time for Jason and Britt to part ways now that their connection has cooled?

Should Steve Burton explore a new romantic storyline, or perhaps transition to Hallmark?

General Hospital spoilers indicate that more changes are on the horizon in Port Charles, so stay tuned for updates on any romantic developments and other significant news.
