‘GH’ Spoilers Friday, January 2: Justine Warns Dante, Sidwell Threatens Laura, Kristina Blindsided!

'GH' Spoilers Friday,  January 2: Justine Warns Dante, Sidwell Threatens Laura, Kristina Blindsided!General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, January 2 tease Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) meets  with Acting District Attorney Justine Turner, (Nazneen Contractor) ahead of Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial restarting.

Elsewhere, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) gets new orders from Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) is blindsided!

Dante’s Meeting With Turner

As tomorrow’s  new episode begins, Willow’s trial resumes, and ahead of court reconvening, Dante meets with ADA Turner.

Turner seems quite self-confident  as she tells Dante that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has dug her own grave, and Willow’s  right along with it! As for Alexis, she plans to try a new strategy to get Willow exonerated, with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) putting the pressure on her to do so!

She may  be introducing into evidence the anonymous note sent to her via courier that said Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) was seen at Drew’s house the night of the shooting. The note also said Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) saw him and was keeping it quiet!

Jordan And Curtis Talk

Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) seem to be having a conversation about her role working with Sidwell.

She mentions to Curtis that she’s looking forward to it, right until the moment she takes him down!

After resigning as Deputy Mayor, Jordan has been working undercover off-the-books, leveraging her extensive experience as a DEA agent.

While collaborating with Sidwell, she has also uncovered other potentially valuable information—she’s certainly aware that Drew is involved, along with Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove)!

However, up to this point, Sidwell has managed to keep her in the dark about his connection to Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) latest endeavor.

Laura Gets New  Orders

Meanwhile, Laura is furious as she inquires, “What does Sidwell want now?” It seems she is at the door of the mayor’s office, and since Boyle acts as Sidwell’s “messenger” to her and Sonny, it’s likely him.

Sidwell has both Sonny  Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Laura under his control, all due to his scheme of placing the deceased Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) in the trunk of her car.

Every incident, from Laura’s flat tire to someone conveniently taking pictures of her when she opened her trunk, and Sonny arriving to help, is part of the setup!

Sidwell has both of them under his thumb, having already taken over Sonny’s piers.

Sidwell And Marco Mix Business With Lunch

It’s intriguing yet raises some eyebrows that Sidwell and his son Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) would opt to dine at Bobbie’s-there are ties to Bobbie’s for both Sidwell and Marco.

It happens to be the restaurant owned by Marco’s boyfriend Lucas Jones’ (Van Hansis) mother, and now it belongs to his sister Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

Additionally, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) sometimes works a shift there, and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) resides in a room above.

Sidwell mentions a particular woman to Marco, stating, “never let her forget what she stands to lose,” which suggests he might be drawing Marco into the matter.

It’s likely he’s talking about Britt, whom he recently cautioned that he could revoke her access to the experimental treatment for Huntington’s Disease at any moment.

Kristina Is Blindsided

Elsewhere, Kristina is blindsided  as she confronts someone regarding the framing of Michael; she’s visibly upset as she demands, “Are you framing my brother for something he didn’t do?”

She stands in front of wooden shutter blinds that fold in the middle to open and close, reminiscent of those at her mother’s house.

Could it be that Alexis’ new tactic for clearing Willow’s name is truly that anonymous note sent by courier, and Kristina is strongly opposing it?

Or is Kristina possibly accusing someone else, like suspended Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), suspecting he might have penned that note?

It’s easy to jump to conclusions, considering Chase’s extreme fixation on clearing Willow’s name; although it’s likely that the note was actually written by Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight).
