'GH' Spoilers Friday, January 16: Dante Demands Answers, Alexis Explains Her Actions, Nina Issues A Warning!

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, January 16 tease Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) demands answers, and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) explains her actions.

Plus, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) issues a warning to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and the verdict is in for Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen)!

Dante Demands Answers

Dante demands answers from Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and it’s obvious he’s talking about Willow.

Dante tells Chase he just needs to know how far he would go to protect her. This follows an accusation by Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) that Chase might be prone to cheat on Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) which Brook Lynn shot down.

Chase still believes that Willow is innocent and he got suspended trying to prove it. Objectivity still flies out the window for the suspended detective, and that’s the reason for Dante’s questions!

Britt Catches Up With Liesl

In the meantime, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is at General Hospital talking to her mother, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).

Who might the topic of discussion be, as Britt advises that maybe they should show him “that” by doing the opposite, and what is the meaning of “that”?

They could be talking about Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and it seems like mother and daughter are on good terms again.

It’s possible also that the “him” could be Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) who both have a relationship with, in spite of Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) disagreeing.

Emma And Gio Discuss Their Relationship

After consummating their relationship, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) and Giovanni Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) are still in bed, and Gio asks if Emma has any second thoughts.

Prior to taking their relationship to the next level, she told him already that she had no doubts.

It looks like the young couple are getting more and more serious with each other, although they may not move in together just yet.

After all, Emma’s grandmother Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is the owner of the condo they’re in and Emma wouldn’t want to have Gio move in without her knowledge and approval.

Emma poured her heart about about her worries about her grandma earlier in the evening.

Alexis Explains Her Actions

In Alexis’ law office, she explains her actions to Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) after the conclusion of Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial.

Kai and Trina had brought proof that Willow shot Drew, and Alexis didn’t use it in court. Trina is very upset, saying “Willow can get away with everything”, and asking” how is that justice?”

Alexis may bring up Drew’s blackmail over her regarding Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) and also that she was defending Willow and things had to be that way.

Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) had warned she could be sued for malpractice and lose her law license for good this time if she threw the trial!

Nina Issues A Warning

It looks like Nina and Drew may be at his house, as she issues a warning-you can tell by the look on his face he doesn’t like being told what to do! S

he warns him that “now it’s time to do it my way!” His way may not be working so well, as far as she’s concerned-as they wait for the jury to come back from deliberations in Willow’s trial.

Drew looks cocky and offended as Nina gets fierce with her advice, which is quite forceful. So what’s the plan if things don’t go the way that they thought they would, when the jury gives their verdict?

The Jury Is In

Willow, who is likely there with her mother and husband as well, gets a notice on her phone-she tells them the jury is in.

That means the verdict is in as well, as they wait to hear their fate. They will need to return to the courthouse soon, as soon as they’re notified that the court is back in session.

Alexis is confident she did everything she could to introduce reasonable doubt that Willow shot Drew-even though she now knows she did!

All they needed was for the jury to have their doubts that Willow was the one who shot Drew that night; now it’s a wait and see.
