General Hospital spoilers leak Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is trapped inside his own body, incapable of signaling any alarm to anyone who happens to stop by and say hello — which isn’t a long list.
Rumor has it he’s not going to be laid up for long, and that’s more believable since we’ve recently found out he’s only locked inside his body because he’s being drugged.
As soon as that pesky little detail is worked out, he’ll be able to really let Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) have it.
I have a feeling Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) could be lurking around, waiting for Willow to betray him. Then what?
He might swiftly decide it’s time for Drew to make a remarkable recovery and reclaim his seat in Congress.
As for Drew, he could have plans of his own for Willow. Will those plans include cutting her loose, or pulling her closer?
Willow Makes More Waves
Willow is itching to get to Washington, DC and figure out how she can make the little bubble of Port Charles where she lives into a better place.
She really wants to make her mark, but she seems kind of nervous, too — am I right?
The more that Sidwell lays on the demands back home, the more it’s starting to look like Willow might struggle to juggle all that’s on her plate.
A disabled husband she hates, a litigious ex-husband she hates, and well, she doesn’t exactly look like she likes Sidwell.
With all of that lording over her, the idea of having to jet off to the nation’s capital constantly while raising her kids — and bringing Emily ‘Scout’ Cain (Cosette Abinante) back into the home, it looks like the pressure is starting to get to her.
Drew Isn’t Done Yet
The more that Willow falters and pushes back against Sidwell, the more likely he’s going to be to drag Drew out of his hospital bed and back into business. Sure, he wasn’t the easiest to work with, but Sidwell seemed to be assuming Willow was going to be some kind of pushover.
Furthermore, he didn’t account for her being more or less mentally unstable. If he can’t wrangle her well enough to keep in line, he might have to throw her to the wolves.
Well, he might have to throw her to Drew. Imagine Willow coming home from DC to find Drew back in action, no longer drugged, and ready to squeal! But that doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll ask for a divorce.
Revenge Rears Its Head
Drew’s favorite game is exacting revenge on the people he believes have wronged him. I can see him staying hitched to Willow, pretending to want to protect her from the trouble she’s gotten herself into with Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and Sidwell.
Then, at just the right time, he flips the script and has her trapped once again. Drew has been going through a long list of them this past year. Will his time in silence force him to change?
Might he see the error of at least some of his ways, or will this only push him to further nail Willow to the wall? It wouldn’t be hard for him to get her locked up, but he might find more sinister ways to stick it to her — and with Sidwell’s help.
By the time they’re done with her, she may be unrecognizable and ready for Shady Brook! Can you see it? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.
