GH Spoilers: Drew’s Escape Plot Crashes And Burns – Trouble Explodes Ahead

General Hospital spoilers and updates indicate that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is coming to the conclusion that he must take action.

He is due for another dose of the paralytic drug provided by Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), which means the effects of the paralysis will begin to diminish slightly.

Distracted Nina Jabbed Brennan With Drew’s Meds, Aiming For Valentin

Fans of GH are well aware that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), is currently quite distracted.

This is due to the fact that she just accidentally jabbed Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), with the very syringe intended for Drew.

As a result, Drew’s medication will be postponed even longer while Nina and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) navigate the chaos unfolding in the living room.

Meanwhile, Drew finds himself alone in the bedroom at this moment, but he will surely feel a glimmer of hope when he discovers that he can move his fingers.

This newfound ability will likely lead to some stretching and flexing as Drew attempts to regain sensation in his arms and legs as well.

Drew Will Want To Rush Out Into The Fray, But May Not Make It Far

It’s hard to fault Drew for making an effort in this situation, especially considering that this is the first genuine opportunity for freedom he has encountered in months!

Nevertheless, the effects of Drew’s drug are unlikely to dissipate quickly enough for him to fully return to his former self.

Additionally, it’s clear that Drew’s muscles have likely weakened somewhat due to his prolonged inactivity.

Even if Drew musters the strength to pull himself toward the door, he won’t be able to make much progress.

Eventually, Nina might decide to search for another syringe and administer it to Drew, just as she should have done before Brennan made his entrance.

Valentin May Have To Help Nina Restrain Drew

Drew may hold onto the hope that, in time, he will be able to stand up and take those first steps once again. Valentin is armed and may be inclined to assist in restraining Drew if necessary, although they’ll still have Brennan to deal with.

Naturally, Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) will have to return home eventually, which means she might come to the realization that if you want something done correctly, you may need to take matters into your own hands!

Willow might discover Drew’s escape as it happens and could stop him, grabbing the syringes and giving one to Drew, which quickly makes him paralyzed again.

There will be a tense moment with Drew, but the story isn’t over; he won’t escape as he wanted, so he will remain under the careful watch of Willow and Sidwell.
