General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Ava Jerome (Maura West) could get over boy toy Ethan Lovett by cozying up to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Red hot summer spoilers, plus a couple of on-air hints, lead us to believe these two could get up to mischief—here’s why!
Ava & Drew Ready to Mingle?
For starters, Ava and Drew had some friendly chit chat recently at the Metro Court pool.
Later Ava asked Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) if he asked Ethan to kill Drew.
Ava is digging for dirt about Ethan’s bond with Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton) but she just ended up irking Sonny.
Somehow their talk turned ominous, with Sonny vowing to retaliate against anyone, including Ava and Drew, who messed with his family. We wouldn’t put it past Ava to link up with Drew just to spite Sonny!

If this does happen Ava may have to go into witness protection given how the rest of PC loathes Drew, including her bestie Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). At the very least Nina would warn Ava off of Drew and maybe even end their friendship.
If it did come to that, Ava’s devil may care attitude would probably tell Nina buh-bye. Ava has always looked out for herself and we don’t see this changing any time soon.
Will Drew and Nina Hookup?
Ava also has a tendency to fall for bad boys, which Drew is in spades. Ahead of this potential liaison, some fans are seeing rizz between Ava and Drew—do you?
Ethan left Ava high and dry and we just don’t see her spinning her wheels for long.
Spoilers for the week of August 10-14 hint that Ava seeks a new ally, and with Drew being such a pariah we don’t think he has much leeway to turn down potential alliances.
Drew is in the Doghouse
Drew can’t go back to being a congressman and he has to feed himself somehow. Ava recently offered Trina Robinson (Tatyana Ali) a partnership at her gallery and was turned down.
Maybe Ava could use some muscles moving heavy canvases around?
