I just hope he’s prepared for the fire to come from multiple angles, since Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo), and WSB Agent Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) are also gunning for the mob boss.
With Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) planning to skip town with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) for a while, Sonny will be on his own trying to fight two of the toughest enemies he’s had in years a fellow crime lord, and an insider-turned-agent from his own family. Who will come out on top?
Merry Christmas, Sonny!
Joss made a casual promise to send a postcard to Sonny if he did what she framed as the “right thing” and hightailed it out of Port Charles — and the United States. Joss’ suggestion?
Leave, abandon his “surviving children,” and essentially, stay gone. That’s obviously not going to happen, but that just means Joss feels like she checked off that box in her mind that read, “Give Sonny one last chance to get out of dodge on his own terms.”
Now, she might feel even more emboldened to go after her former stepfather without hesitation.
GH Spoilers Warn the Stakes are Higher Than Ever
Joss isn’t some shy teenager with her mom’s attitude anymore. She’s a trained covert federal agent.
If she wants to take Sonny out, she may be more equipped to do it than anyone else ever has been, because she knows his vulnerabilities and weak spots more than anyone else could.
Will she use that intel to her advantage to take him out, and will she care at all what the consequences are for her mother or siblings if she’s convinced that she is doing the “right thing.”
Is This the End of the Line for Sonny?
Sonny is in an impossible situation. It’s not looking like he’ll be able to convince Joss that he’s not the man she believes he is.
She’s spent years ingraining this vision of him into her mind. She’s grieving years of pain and loss, and every time her mother defends the guy, it’s maddening for her and compounds the pain.
The loss of her brother. Her brothers being harmed. Her little sister growing up in the same shadow of danger with security guards and a dad who may have to jump ship at any time to avoid the consequences of his own actions.
All of these factors remind Joss every day that she is somehow morally within her rights to remove him from the family equation. Will it be that simple, and how can Sonny possibly protect himself while not harming a hair on her head? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
