GH Spoilers: Carly Reports Josslyn Missing, Fake Nathan Asked to Find His Own Hostage?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) remains uncertain about Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) idea.

Valentin has been pushing Carly to come up with a cover story to explain Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) absence, but she’s hesitant since she doesn’t know what really happened to her daughter.

Since Josslyn vanished right after Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) blew up at Carly for cheating, Valentin thinks it makes sense that Brennan sent Joss away in the aftermath.

However, Valentin also thinks it might be safest for Josslyn to stay wherever she is now. That’s why Valentin has been urging Carly to just come up with some excuse and let Josslyn stay out of the picture for a while.

Of course, Carly doesn’t know for sure that Brennan is the reason for Josslyn’s disappearance, so she realizes she could be leaving her daughter vulnerable to other threats.

For all Carly knows, Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) or Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) could’ve already gone after Josslyn. GH fans know the answer isn’t too far off since Cassius Faison aka fake Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) is the one who threw Josslyn into captivity!

At some point, Carly may decide to report Josslyn missing whether Valentin likes it or not. If that happens, “Nathan” could end up being the detective assigned to Josslyn’s case.

Can you imagine the drama of Cassius realizing he’s been tasked with finding his own hostage? “Nathan” would have to sabotage the investigation and make certain that nothing traces back to him or Josslyn’s real location.

Naturally, it’s possible “Nathan” and Detective Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) could end up working together on this mission.

That could make it even more difficult for “Nathan” to cover his tracks since Joe is the kind of guy who pays attention to details.

Cassius called Pascal (Marc Forget) and put him on clean-up duty after his faceoff with Josslyn. The apartment looked good in the end, but what if a trace of Cassius aka fake Nathan’s DNA was left behind?

It might raise questions about why “Nathan” was at Josslyn’s place and why he’s been keeping secrets about his visit there. Joe might get suspicious, especially if “Nathan” uses the workout buddy excuse he used on Josslyn when he showed up at her door!
