GH Spoilers: Britt & Jason’s Romantic Curse – Hiatus Ruins Everything

General Hospital spoilers hint that with Steve Burton going on hiatus and not coming back until the summer, this will undeniably affect his romance with Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). Is their relationship cursed?

Momentum Slowed Down … Again!

It seems like every time Jason and Britt come together; something has to pull them apart. While Jason will only be off the canvas for a little while for his upcoming break, this will slow down their romantic momentum.

It’s interesting because the General Hospital February 16 seemed to foreshadow some doom and gloom that’s coming.

Britt sent Jason a cryptic text, and he knew that she was asking him to meet at the cabin; the very cabin they recently solidified their romantic reunion!

Britt came to a realization last week that time is precious, something her mom, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) reminded her of.

That’s why she decided to take the bull by the horns and secretly set up a meeting with Jason, as their time could be stolen at any moment.

The two got down to business – hitting the sheets – right away. Even a couple of hours is a blessing for the two of them, considering their past.

Little do they know that one of them will once again flee off the canvas. But what will take Jason out of Port Charles.

Stop Start – Stop Start

Depending on what takes Jason out of storylines, his exit could be an obstacle for their romance. What if his reason for leaving town is linked to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)?

Could Britt resent him? Many fans believe that Jason may be presumed dead, and possibly, kidnapped. If that’s the case, could this happen as a result of him trying to help Carly? Then Britt may not only resent Jason, but Carly, as well!

It’s hard to say how Jason will exit, but regardless, it’ll place their romance on hold, much to the sadness of their fans.

Still, Steve Burton is at a level in his soapy success where he can dictate his schedule, and needs a break to spend time with his wife and family, so fans also need to support that decision.
