GH Spoilers: Ava Spills The Beans On Who Framed Nina

General Hospital spoilers imply that Ava Jerome (Maura West) will spill the beans on who framed Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) regarding Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) disappearance.

The show recently released its promo for the week of September 21-25, with some interesting insights, so let’s unpack this intriguing storyline.

Ava Jerome’s Bold Move

General Hospital’s weekly preview opens with a scene between Ava and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen. Ava tells her BFF’s daughter, “If Nina is being framed, I may know by who!”
With that said, will she throw Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) under the bus?

That seems unlikely, especially at this point of the arc. Plus, Ava was an accomplice in Drew’s scheme, and the last thing she wants is to point Willow (and thus the authorities) at Drew or her.

With that said, Ava still feels bad for Nina. After all, the poor (innocent, for once) woman got hauled off by the WSB and extradited. Ava will want to help bring Nina home, but without sacrificing her own freedom!

Ava’s Plan

Will Ava meet with Willow to plant a seed in her mind? After all, Nina was framed for Brennan’s disappearance, but what if Ava can figure out a way to pin this on someone else?

At least enough for Willow to present ‘reasonable doubt’ to the WSB, so that Nina can be released.

Nina has a ton of enemies in the little town, namely, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)! Carly was the first person to point out to William Baines (Alimi Ballard) that Nina uttered threats to Brennan, so Ava may tell Willow she believes Carly framed her.

Carly’s been known to do something like this in the past, so it’s not far-fetched to think she’d be capable of doing it again.

Plus, Ava may also point out that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), or even Brook Lynn Quartermaine might be behind the frame job on Nina as a way to get back at Willow!

Willow has a ton of influence on the WSB, so if she can prove that Nina was framed, without pinpointing who is behind it, maybe they’ll release her mom?
