GH Spoilers: Ava Blows Up Liz & Ric Reunion With Blackmail Secret

General Hospital spoilers suggest that Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) are officially a thing again in the land of Port Charles; however, will Ava Jerome (Maura West) blow their romance up when she exposes Ric’s blackmail secret?

Ric Lansing Is A Changed Man … Or Is He?

General Hospital spoilers remind fans that during the Thursday, March 19 episode, Ric tried to come clean about his last dastardly act before he became a reformed man, but Liz stopped him before doing so.

Why dredge up the past if everything is cleared up, right? Ric backed down from revealing it, and the two shared a kiss. But at the end of the day, what went down in Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) basement, and everything leading up to that major event, was huge.

Fans may recall that Ava and Ric were blackmailing Alexis with evidence that Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) had cut the brakes on Ric’s vehicle. While Kristina thought it was Ava’s SUV, it was Ric’s, and the act almost cost his life and Liz’s.

In addition, they blackmailed Alexis to steal funds from Ace Cassadine’s (Karis & Kieran Barry) inheritance. In the end, Ric turned on Ava and wanted all the money.

In a horrific and very physical encounter, Ava realized the betrayal (while at Alexis’ house), she knocked him over the head with a paperweight, and she, Kristina, and Alexis held Ric hostage, and drugged him in Alexis’ basement.

Ava Jerome’s Jealousy

Ava was always jealous of how Ric doted on Liz during their relationship. When she finds out the two have officially reunited, will she tell Liz what Ric did before his “evolution” into a decent human being?

Ric tried to come clean, but Liz stopped him. Would she hold this against him? Could this blow up their romantic reunion?
