GH Kate Mansi Quits Because Lack Of Good Storyline?

Let’s just say that there are still a lot of people that are in shock. Clearly, we are talking about General Hospital star Kate Mansi, who just announced that she was leaving Port Charles after having spent the last three years playing Kristina Corinthos Davis. Kate Mansi Quits Because Lack Of Good Storyline?

There’s some speculation among General Hospital viewers suggesting that one of the reasons why Kate decided to leave Port Charles for good is simply because her character didn’t have a very good storyline.

Sure, she was a supportive character on screen, but there’s nothing that happened these last several years that put Kristina in the spotlight or gave Kate enough material to show a different side to her character.

That could be one of the reasons why she decided to throw her towel in and call it a day.

Clearly, many GH fans had a lot to say about what might have happened and why Kate decided to leave her General Hospital days behind her.

Some even took to social media to comment with, “She never really got a good story so I’m not that sad to see her go. She is a very talented director. Now if she Directed GH, because her episodes were really good, maybe we’ll get a better show with less drops in storyline.”

Another critic of the show wrote, “I don’t want Kristina off the canvas. Maybe she will take off with a baby – never to be seen – until she comes back or they recast!?!?!”

Why Did Kate Mansi Quit The Show?

“I wouldn’t mind her being a Heather Webber type figure who only pops up from time to time to cause trouble.”

And then there was this comment as well: “I was fine with her in the role but it would be great to see Lexi Ainsworth back. I know she looked young when she was there before but she’s older than Kristen Vaganos so she could still play her older sister.”

So far Kate Mansi herself has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
