GH Fans Think Nathan West Is Coming Back, Here’s Why

Ryan Paevey’s exit from General Hospital last week caught fans by surprise.  First Cassius Faison was dead.

Then Cassius was alive again and we thought Ryan Paevey was sticking around.  Now, Cassius is leaving town anyway.

Have we seen the last of Ryan Paevey or could he return to General Hospital AGAIN as Cassius’ dead twin Nathan West?

Is Ryan Paevey Really Leaving

While Cassius Faison’s fake death complicated things this month, General Hospital showrunner Frank Valentini confirmed that Ryan Paevey is indeed gone, for now.  However, the door is always open for his return.

When Ryan Paevey returned to General Hospital in September 2025, the residents of Port Charles believed that Nathan West had somehow returned from the dead.

That sort of thing happens on GH all of the time.  Several months later, we learned that it was Cassius Faison and Nathan West was still dead.

Is Nathan West Coming Back Now

Now that the General Hospital writers introduced Cassius Faison, the door is still open for Nathan West to return from the dead.

Eagle-eyed soap fans noticed on IMDB that Ryan Paevey is listed as currently playing “Nathan West.”  There’s no mention of Cassius Faison.

After the big IMDB clue, rumors began circulating on social media that Ryan Paevey was coming back as Nathan West (again) after Cassius Faison leaves town.

But, sadly that’s the only clue. The door is always open for the writers to bring Ryan Paevey back to the soap, as Cassius or Nathan.  However, that doesn’t seem to be in the cards any time soon.

It looks like Ryan Paevey really has left the building, for now anyways.  Do you think the soap will bring him back?  Do you want him to come back as Cassius or Nathan West?
