GH Alum William Lipton’s Series Canceled – Door Opens for General Hospital Cameron Return?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease William Lipton (Cameron Webber) has an update for his fans. Even though his series ‘The Runarounds” has been cancelled, the band itself is going on tour!

It’s Been Over A Year Since Cameron Webber Came Home To Port Charles For Christmas

It has been more than a year since General Hospital fans last witnessed Cam’s return to Port Charles for Christmas.

Although there are currently no plans to bring the character back from college in the near future, his actor has been quite active since stepping away from daytime television.

William Lipton, along with his bandmates from The Runarounds, has been preparing for their upcoming tour and they are thrilled to meet you.

For those who missed previous performances, the former ABC soap star shared several photos showcasing some of the memorable moments the band has experienced on the road thus far.

Despite the ‘tour dump’ being ‘lacking friends, family, and familiar places,’ Lipton concluded his post with a heartfelt message: ‘See you guys in April.’

Lipton’s Prime Video Series Is Cancelled, So Catch It While It’s Still Available To Stream

The band also made a post, stating, “Come on, get in, we’re leaving (in a week), hoping to see their fans as they’re out on the road.”

Unfortunately, if you were hoping to catch their first show on Tuesday, April 7, at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto, Canada, it’s already sold out. However, there are plenty more shows lined up this summer on the tour.

Additionally, if you haven’t yet seen Season 1 of his Prime series, The Runarounds, you can still follow the escapades of Lipton’s Charlie and his friends.

As the band pursues their big break and seemingly unattainable dream, their adventure unfolds over a summer filled with love and unexpected trouble along the way.

A Short Port Charles Rewind

For those General Hospital fans who perhaps weren’t watching when Cameron originally left, he went through a painful breakup with now WSB Agent Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

She cheated on her childhood sweetheart with Dex Heller, (Evan Hofer) whose later murder she sought to avenge, leading to her recruitment into the WSB.

In the meantime, Cameron had left for college in California, not far from where Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) was studying at the time, before she got herself expelled trying to save lab animals!

There’s no word on if Will Lipton now will have time to return to General Hospital to reprise his role of Cameron Webber. It’s just a wait and see what happens for the immediate future.
