General Hospital Spoilers: Will Jason’s Next Return Trip Home Bring Someone Else Back From the Grave?

General Hospital spoilers report Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is headed out of the picture soon. We know he’ll be living out his days as a kidnapped man, which is out of the norm for things that are usually a possible occurrence where he’s concerned.

A recent leak suggests that Jason is going to be screwed with in some pretty substantial ways. It sounds like serious trauma awaits him, and that by the time he comes back to his loved ones, he’ll be a different guy. Given all that’s going on with Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) right now, that gives me some pause that he might literally be someone else.

This sounds eerily familiar to the mind mapping days of his twin brother, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Some people suspect that something may have happened to Drew at some point and that’s why he turned so sour.

Anyway, the leaker says Jason will suffer from PTSD but will keep it all to himself. Typical Jason. They also say he and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) won’t be together anymore after he comes home. But why would she abandon him like that if she learns he had no choice but to leave without her? There’s a new theory circulating that Jason won’t come home alone.

General Hospital Spoilers — A New Direction

There have been rumors that Burton has been unhappy with his storyline lately. Could that have spurred his decision to take a few months off? Maybe this pivot is GH’s way of keeping him in a contract? They can’t just bust Britt and Jason up without cause. They need a catalyst.

His mind being wrecked is a pretty sufficient one. He may come home and treat her as cold as ice, signaling their end. And if he comes home with Sam in tow, and involved with her, all bets are off!

That would lend credibility to the leak that one of Sam’s former leading men has been pushing Frank Valentini to bring her back.

It sounds like Burton is well aware that Jason’s character thrived when coupled with Sam — and that’s what the fans want to see again.

GH Spoilers Question If Sam is Alive?

How are they going to get Jason to believe Sam is alive when he sat with her postmortem all that time having the most heartbreaking discussion the pair ever had, albeit one-sided?

Sam was gone, and Burton delivered one of the most sentimental and heartfelt goodbyes of his career. I suppose seeing her in action will be evidence enough, but if anyone will be able to spot a charlatan Sam, it’s Jason.

General Hospital Spoilers — This Doesn’t Just Impact Britt

Sam’s return would turn many people’s lives upside down. For starters, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) would be over the moon, though by the time his mom is back, it sounds like he may be fully crossed over to the danger-seeking world she always worried he would fall into.

There are rumors of trouble ahead for Danny. Emily ‘Scout’ Cain (Cosette Abinante) will get her mom back, and Sam could end up being the key to Drew’s freedom if she sees what’s going on with Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen).

Furthermore, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) might move on and fall in love with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) or Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) by then. Watching his ex get romantic with his best friend won’t be easy.
