That’s because it’s been reported that Sofia Mattsson, who was best known for her role as Sasha on the hit ABC soap, has left Port Charles for greener pastures at Days of Our Lives.

This has a lot of fans upset and for more reasons than one. That’s because there were some General Hospital viewers who were truly holding out for a Sasha and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) reunion.

They believe that the chemistry was certainly real between them and were hoping that Sofia would come back to reprise the role. But sadly now, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen at all. Talk about a major disappointment, right?

What’s Next For Sasha?

Clearly, GH fans had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some have even commented with, “When is Sasha coming back to General Hospital? I would rather Sasha and Michael together than Michael and Jacinda.”

Another critic wrote, “While I definitely want Sasha back.. I totally disagree. I love the off the charts chemistry between Jacinda and Michael. I also think that Sasha and Jason had a lot of chemistry. Way more than he has with Britt.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Jason is way too old for Sasha plus we don’t need another uncle with Michaels baby momma storyline.”

With that said, there’s always a chance that Sofia might come back to General Hospital after her stint with Days of Our Lives is over, right?
