General Hospital Fan Fave Ryan Paevey Back To Work In September

General Hospital viewers are still trying to wrap their heads around Ryan Paevey’s most recent run on the ABC soap opera.

Cassius West seems to have faked his own death and vanished in to thin air.  To the best of our knowledge, Nathan West is still six feet under.

That doesn’t mean that Paevey isn’t booking jobs elsewhere though!

Paevey’s most recent contract wasn’t long term and the actor’s stint at Nathan/Cassius this year always had an expiration date.

The daytime fan fave didn’t waste any time finding new work though.  In fact, he’ll be filming in September!

Ryan Paevey shared a cryptic post on Instagram this week.  The GH cast member announced he would bgin filming in September and captioned the post, “Can’t tell you anything else yet except there’s one clue hiding in this photo.”

The photo showed Paevey decked out in holiday cheer and included Christmas music playing in the background.  The original post came from the production page, “Justice & Ponder.“

In the past Ryan Paevey has appeared in the following Hallmark Channel Christmas movies:
Hope at Christmas (2018), Christmas at the Plaza (2019), A Timeless Christmas (2020), A Fabled Holiday (2022), Coyote Creek Christmas (2021), and Under the Christmas Sky (2023).

Like many Hallmark Channel movie stars, Paevey has also booked roles for the similar app Great American Family.  It looks like the Nathan West portrayer is definitely filming a holiday movie.

It’s unclear whether the new project is for Hallmark or Great American Family.  As soon as more details are available, we will be sure to pass them along.

In the meantime, Ryan Paevey’s exit from General Hospital last month appears to be the real deal.  Despite rumors that the actor was staying on the daytime soap, that doesn’t seem to be the case.  Do you miss Paevey on GH?
