Expert Claims Meghan Markle’s PR Power Has Surged Since Going Solo

While Prince Harry could be the one said to have had the stronger public image and brand prior to, and even some years after, his marriage to the former American actress, experts are now insisting that Meghan has successfully overtaken him.

They argued that Meghan’s brand has become more profitable and mission-focused than Harry’s in recent years.

Shortly after exiting the Royal Family in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle snagged multi-million dollar deals from several entertainment platforms.

However, since then, Harry has seemed to take a step back, instead letting Meghan take the lead and keep the Sussex brand alive.

With her re-arrival on Instagram, Meghan has been pretty much controlling and steering the Sussex narrative since then.

The couple move was something PR expert and talent agent Dermot McNamara commended.

He said: “Meghan was once seen as a gorgeous, glamorous Hollywood star, and she reminded people of that at the Gala.

Yes, she became more famous when she married Harry, but she was her own entity before he came along and she is used to going out and working the hustle in a way that Harry hasn’t had to do.”

This is coming after Meghan made a solo appearance at the Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala in Los Angeles last week, looking beautiful in a strapless gown and vintage earrings.

But this pattern has been repeating in the past few months, with joint appearances by the couple becoming few and far between.

While the “power couple” brand may have worked for a number of celebrities, the Sussexes apparently thought it best not to try and go down that route.

“There’s no doubt she’s stronger alone at the moment because the levels of toxicity around the Epstein scandal can’t be overstated,” he said. “It goes against everything she’s trying to build, so she won’t want to be associated with it in any way.”

“There’s probably an element of her protecting Harry emotionally, mixed with her protecting herself and her brand.”

Meghan has been steadily building her lifestyle brand As Ever since it was launched last year. This year, there’s even been news that she plans to expand As Ever to more territories.
