EastEnders Spoilers Week Of March 23: The Slaters Meet Josh, Bea Lashes Out, Suki Slings Accusations!

EastEnders spoilers and updates for the week of March 23 tease the Slaters meet Josh Goodwin (Joshua Vaughan), while Bea Pollard (Ronnie Ancona) lashes out! Plus, Suki Panesar-Unwin (Balvinder Sopal) slings accusations!

Patrick Is Overwhelmed

Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) anxiously waits for Josh and Sandra (Dawn Steele) to arrive; meeting his estranged grandson is overwhelming, so he rushes to the kitchen to think.

Josh tries to help, but Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) interrupts, wanting to see her son. Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) and Denise Fox (Diane Parish) step in to calm her, but Zoe leaves after Sandra warns her.

The next day, Sandra worries about Josh not coming home and is relieved to find him in The Square.

Their moment is cut short by Zoe, who is heading to the prison to see Jasmine Fisher (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness), who plans to plead guilty to murdering her father, Anthony Trueman (Nicholas Bailey).

Kat Is Thrilled To Meet Her Grandson

He agrees to go with her to The Vic, where Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) is thrilled to meet her grandson. It’s a touching moment, and they are excited when he accepts their dinner invitation.

However, no one thinks about Jasmine, who is upset that Zoe didn’t show up and decides to plead guilty to Anthony’s murder.

Zoe feels guilty, and as the Slaters get ready to welcome Josh and Sandra, Kat thinks Zoe should stay at The Vic and visit Jasmine instead. Dinner starts, and Josh shares that after his twin sister’s arrest, a call was answered on her phone.

Zoe Is Shocked To Discover Someone Has Jasmine’s Phone

As we know, Max Branning (Jake Wood) took the device that held footage of Anthony launching himself at Jasmine on the night he died.

Uncertain about how to handle the evidence, Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) relieved him of it, assuring him she would dispose of it. Just as she was about to smash the phone with her high heel, a frantic Josh started calling.

Zoe is stunned to discover that someone possesses the mobile.  This leads to a heated argument between the Truemans and the Slaters, which forces Josh to leave.

Max Watches From A Distance And Heads Over To The Prince Albert

Max observes from a distance and makes his way to The Prince Albert to persuade Cindy to act responsibly. She eventually gives in, but her attempt to secretly place the phone in The Vic goes horribly awry, resulting in it dropping to the floor right in front of Kat.

Cindy finds herself in a position where she must provide explanations as questions arise. And the Slaters take the phone upstairs to view the footage. Will this new evidence be sufficient to prevent Jasmine from being imprisoned?

Bea Lashes Out!

Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) returns to Walford, and Bea quickly overwhelms her and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) is suspicious of Bea’s sudden closeness to the Mitchells, leading to a confrontation.

Later, Honey shares her worries about starting menopause with Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick), and they agree Bea needs to find a new place; Honey books a GP appointment but feels unheard.

To complicate things, Billy makes a misstep while trying to comfort her-meanwhile, Bea is angry about being kicked out and goes to McKlunky’s for her shift.

She kicks customers out and wrecks the shop, later being found by Will Mitchell (Freddie Phillips). She invents a story about an attack to gain sympathy. Will her plan persuade the Mitchells to let her stay?

Suki Slings Accusations

Tension remains between Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) and Suki, as she refuses to support Penny Branning’s (Kitty Castledine) pregnancy.

Eve Panasar-Unwin (Heather Peace) encourages Suki to reconcile, and they attend a family lunch at the Branning house; during the meal, Suki and Penny surprisingly bond.

Later, Penny claims she doesn’t need gifts to feel loved, only to find out her partner has already put down a deposit for a shop on Turpin Road in her name.

Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) and Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) urge her to take the chance. When Suki hears about this gesture, she harshly accuses Penny of trying to take advantage of her son.

Lauren Notices Oscar And Josh Flirting

Lauren Beale (Jacqueline Jossa) notices Oscar Branning (Pierre Moullier-Counihan) and Josh flirting, completely unaware of who his sister is, and encourages Oscar to move on from one-night stands and re-enter the dating world.

The guys meet up for drinks at The Prince Albert, and things quickly heat up, leading to them waking up in each other’s arms the next morning.

Lauren and Peter Beale (Dayle Hudson) have a chat with Oscar about his new relationship, but how long will it be before he learns about the link to Jasmine? Oscar may be shocked to find out he’s been involved with a sister and a brother!

Zack Has New Troubles

Meanwhile, Zack Hudson (James Farrar) faces new concerns; The Queen Vic’s latest food venture hasn’t taken off as well as head chef Zack had hoped, and he is increasingly anxious about his financial troubles.

He is persuaded to buy an engagement gift for Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig), which he likely cannot afford and serves as a painful reminder of his lost relationship.

To complicate matters further, Zack receives news that he is about to be evicted-Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman) is upset, and tensions rise between father and son over the issue.

Vicki shares some encouraging advice, telling Zack not to stress- he will figure things out. This might explain why Max Branning was residing in his flat during the flash-forward episode in January.

Suki And Eve Get An Update On Their Potential Adoption

It’s been some time since we last received updates on Sukeve’s adoption journey. But next week the couple will get some encouraging news regarding their wish to have a child of their own.

After putting aside their differences with Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) and navigating the awkward situation with Eve’s mother, Norma Unwin (Jessica Turner), they are optimistic about being back on track for adoption.

In the upcoming scenes next week, the women will discuss fostering with the adoption agency.

Will Max And Cindy Be Able To Hide Their Affair?

Max and Cindy’s much-anticipated meeting was as dramatic as executive producer Ben Wadey had promised.

During the christening of grandson Jimmy Beale (uncredited), they were shocked to discover that they had actually met the previous night during an unexpected night of passion at her bar.

They had made a significant error by not exchanging names and had sworn to avoid each other from that point on.

However, it appears that next week, they will break their pact and end up sleeping together once more. They plan to meet again and agree to keep their rendezvous a secret from their families; but will they be able to keep this promise this time?
