‘Eastenders’ Spoilers Weekly Update: Ross Proposes, Bea Upsets The Panesars, Phil Keeps Secrets!

EastEnders spoilers and updates for the week of February 2 tease Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw) proposes, and Bea Pollard (Ronni Ancona) upsets the Panesars.

Also, Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) keeps secrets, Zoe Slater’s (Michelle Ryan) upset and Nugget Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) gets closer to the truth.

Ross Proposes

It’s a fresh start for Ross after Joel Marshall’s (Max Murray)  trial as he decides to start his handyman business. He also wants to reconnect with Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig), not realizing her focus is on someone else…

At the Boxing Den, she shares a tense moment with Zack Hudson (James Farrar), which Mark Fowler (Stephen Aaron Stipple) witnesses. Mark only wishes the best for his sister and later sees Ross leaving a jeweler’s.

While the men talk, Zack listens in. Mark later tells Vicki that Ross plans to propose, but she is distracted by Zack bringing a woman to his flat. When Ross finally proposes, she drops a shocking revelation, and questions arise.

Bea Upsets The Panesars

It’s a new beginning for Bea, who is being trained by Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) on her first day at the Minute Mart. Vinny Panesar (Shive Jalota) and Nugget show up, and Bea is upset by how they talk to their staff.

Things get worse when Honey injures her back, and Suki Panesar-Unwin (Balvinder Sopal) has a rather harsh attitude that shocks Bea.

After suggesting that her new friend should sue the Panesar family for her workplace injury, Bea convinces Honey to drink some wine at work and discuss their plan of action. As she gets more tipsy, Honey reveals that Suki once attempted to kiss her.

Julie Moves Nigel To Peacock Palace From Phil’s House

After Julie Bates (Karen Henthorn) decided to move him from Phil’s house to Peacock Palace, Nigel Bates (Paul Bradley) feels lost. Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) notices his discomfort and asks Phil to help Julie, not knowing the reason for their fallout.

She also realizes that Julie might need a break and offers to stay with Nigel so she can go out. He becomes upset at the idea of his wife leaving him and accidentally hurts her, which leads Linda to notice bruises on Julie’s arms.

Wanting to help her, she asks Phil to step in, but is surprised to find out about his plan to take Nigel to Portugal. 

Phil Keeps Secrets

Instead, she vows to arrange the Bates’ vow renewal, provided Phil is not invited. Unbeknownst to them, Phil has received a call from a care home with a spot for Nigel. They have only 24 hours to accept, and he decides not to inform Julie.

Later in the week, as preparations for Nigel and Julie’s second wedding begin, Phil goes to No. 55 and assumes he will be his best man. Phil is furious and decides to take his friend to the ceremony and then leave.

Jasmine Disappears

Jasmine Fisher (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness) has disappeared, and Oscar Branning (Pierre Counihan-Moullier) is eager to find her.

Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) overhears his talk with Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) and pays close attention when she mentions not wanting to worry Zoe by telling her.

He already has a lot to deal with as Anthony Trueman’s (Nicholas Bailey) funeral is coming up.

When Kim and Denise Fox (Tameka Empson, Diane Parish) offer their help, he asks them to assist in getting a visiting order so he can speak to Zoe himself.

Zoe’s Upset

Kat learns of his intentions and advises him against seeking answers from her. However, Patrick is more resolute than ever and makes his way to the jail, where Zoe shares everything she believes he should know without causing him pain. When he makes a vague remark about Jasmine, she becomes anxious and wary.

That evening, as he returns home, Patrick is in distress over Zoe’s remarks about his son. Patrick contemplates how he will cope with grieving the person she has described.

Nugget Gets Closer To The Truth

Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan-Levy) is still working on fixing the relationship between Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) and Nugget; she suggests buying their son a car so he can learn to drive.

When Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman) hears Priya blaming Nicola and Harry Mitchell (Laura Doddington, Elijah Holloway) for the assault, he decides to confront them, and they deny it.

He talks to Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) about what Nugget remembers, not realizing that Nugget is listening and has figured out that the Mitchells caused his injuries. Barney is just as confused about how it happened, and Nugget rushes to No. 1 to find out the truth.

Priya and Ravi feel anxious when the Mitchells support the lie they created to keep the teenager from knowing the whole story.
