Ravi’s Horrible Hallucinatory Crime
An eventful week is coming up in EastEnders, as the fallout from Nicola (Laura Doddington) and Harry Mitchell’s (Elijah Holloway) spiking incident weighs heavily on victim Ravi.
After the cunning Nicola and Harry carried out their revenge scheme, Ravi finds himself waking up in the street with no recollection of how he ended up there.
When his phone finally turns on, a series of distressing messages makes his stomach drop, and he soon realizes something awful: he’s accountable for a tragic event!
While hallucinating Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry), he had attacked his own son-shocked by this revelation, Ravi turns to Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophia Khan Levy) for support.
His anxiety intensifies when detectives inform him they need to speak with Priya, while later, Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) escalates the plan to use him as a drug narc.
Bea Settles In
Bea is getting comfortable at Peacock Palace and soon grows fond of Max Branning (Jake Wood).
Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) offers to help her by picking up the rest of her things from her old apartment, followed by a drink.
However, plans change when Ollie Carter (Henry Farr) has issues at school. Max steps in and suggests taking Bea out instead so Linda can focus on her son, which makes Bea excited about the idea of a ‘date’ with Albert Square’s notorious love rat.
Max is surprised when he realizes Bea believes it’s a romantic outing, but he decides to go along with it for Linda’s sake.
Bea Causes A Rift
Meanwhile, Oscar Branning (Pierre Counihan-Moullier) and Lauren Beale (Jacqueline Jossa) are planning a memorial to commemorate the eighth anniversary of their sister Abi Branning’s (Lorna Fitzgerald) death.
Oscar invites Max, who promises to join them later-Bea is enjoying the evening but feels hurt when he leaves to go to the memorial.
She seeks comfort from Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton), thinking that Linda has set her up; when Max arrives, Lauren and Oscar scold him for being late.
Everyone comes together to remember Abi, but Lauren makes it clear that her father is not welcome. In a last-ditch effort to make things right, he gives his children a speech he wrote for the occasion, asking them to read it for him.
Jasmine Tries To Help Patrick With His Grief
It’s a tough week for the Trueman family as they learn they can visit Anthony Trueman (Nicholas Bailey) in the chapel of rest. Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) struggles with his guilt, replaying the moment he wished his son was dead in his mind.
Noticing his distress, Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) encourages him to reach out to his newly-found granddaughter Jasmine-but she’s busy watching Charli Slater (uncredited infant) for Lily Slater (Lilia Turner) upstairs at The Vic.
When Patrick arrives at the pub, she goes downstairs, not realizing the baby monitor is broken. In the bar, Patrick and Jasmine start to connect, but the night takes a turn when Lily comes back to find Charli crying and scolds Jasmine for not paying attention.
Jasmine Shows Her Violent Side
Shaken by the argument, Patrick asks Jasmine to stay at No.20, but he secretly shares his concerns about her aggressive behavior with Yolande.
As feelings remain intense, Denise Fox (Diane Parish) invites Jasmine to join the family in visiting Anthony, which leads to complications when Oscar tries to speak with her. She starts drinking and stumbles back into Walford, while Yolande attempts to help her.
The situation escalates when Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) confronts Jasmine about her treatment of Patrick. Plus she inadvertently reveals that her father was not a good person.
George’s New Job, Penny’s First Date With Vinny
After leaving The Queen Vic during his divorce from Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) last year, George Knight (Colin Salmon) hasn’t had much to do.
He applied for a job at Harry’s Barn and got more than he expected when owner Nicola turned on the charm, leading to them sleeping together.
Now, she’s pregnant with his baby, and realizing he will soon have another mouth to feed, he tells her he plans to buy the empty Walford East restaurant.
Meanwhile, after hooking up on New Year’s Eve, Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) notices Penny Branning’s (Kitty Castledine) interest in Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) and encourages her to make it more than just a one-night stand.
It’s about time these two found some happiness; later in the week, they enjoy a date together at Container Junction.
