EastEnders Spoilers Week Of March 16: Mark Manipulates Lauren, Bea Commits Fraud, Jean ReturnsEastEnders spoilers and updates for the week of March 16 tease Mark Fowler (Stephen Aaron-Sipple) manipulates Lauren Beale (Jacqueline Jossa) and Bea Pollard (Ronni Ancona) commits fraud. Mark Manipulates Lauren

After her intense first week at the car dealership, Lauren consents to a possibly illegal plan with Mark. It’s Mother’s Day in Albert Square, and Lauren and Peter are preparing to celebrate with the Beales at No.45.

Before that, she is set on finalizing a car sale before lunch, but encounters a problem when a potential buyer requests a test drive, which she firmly declines.

She couldn’t risk it  after a flashy vintage car was stolen the previous week. Max Branning (Jake Wood) notices the uncomfortable situation and quickly comes to his daughter’s aid, thereby managing to secure his place at the family gathering.

Peter Tries To Surprise Lauren, But An Argument Breaks Out

Peter Beale (Dayle Hudson) tries to make the day memorable for Lauren with a surprise, but a heated argument soon breaks out, leading Max to leave in anger.

Seizing the chance with Max absent, Mark approaches Lauren with an enticing business offer involving luxury cars. She agrees, completely unaware that there is something more nefarious at play.

Initially, everything appears to go smoothly when Lauren successfully sells one of Mark’s cars. However, Max becomes suspicious and questions the documentation, but Lauren maintains that everything is legitimate.

Lauren And Priya Bond

Later, she supports new employee Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) in her own car-selling endeavors, and the two develop a connection, until Callum Highway (Tony Clay) shows up with concerning news.  

He says that the classic car taken during Lauren’s mugging has been found, and several expensive cars in the area have mysteriously disappeared. With her eyebrow raised, Lauren chooses to confront Mark; is he the one responsible?

Later in the week, Lauren and Peter meet another mother whose baby is also visually impaired to talk about a specialized nursery that could assist baby Jimmy Beale (uncredited).

However, their hopes quickly diminish when they discover the shocking cost – leaving the couple with no option but to seek financial assistance from their families.

Bea Commits Fraud

An already emotional Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) is getting ready to spend Mother’s Day at The Vic with Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe), still feeling hurt by Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) keeping his distance.

However, the day takes a turn for the worse when she is forced to invite Bea along. It doesn’t take long for things to go downhill, as Elaine and Bea exchange thinly veiled insults about money before Bea storms out.

At the Mitchells’ house, Bea tries to apply for a credit card to help with her financial issues. But when her application gets denied, desperation sets in, and she shockingly decides to open one in Honey Mitchell’s (Emma Barton) name instead.

Harvey Becomes Suspicious About Bea’s Obsession

The following day, Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick), Janet Mitchell (Grace), and Will Mitchell (Freddie Phillips) come home without Honey, who is looking after her Aunt Caroline Bishop (Una Stubbs).

Bea soon feels embarrassed when she realizes she has eaten the family out of house and home! Determined to show she can contribute, she promises to find a job before the day ends and manages to get a position at McKlunky’s just as the fraudulent credit card arrives.

Billy starts to feel uneasy after Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) expresses concerns about Bea’s obsession with his family. Things only get worse when he snaps at her for overstepping by arranging a Saturday job for Will at Harry’s Barn.

Jean Returns

Jean returns to Walford after a long time away with Lynne Hobbs (Elaine Lordan), but it’s clear that there are still unresolved issues with Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) due to the chaos involving Jasmine Fisher (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness).

Jean was convinced about Zoe’s harmful intentions, but her family seemed to overlook her concerns. After she hears Zoe on an emotional call with Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace), Jean reflects on Alfie Moon’s (Shane Richie) advice and decides it’s time to reconcile.

In a touching moment, she extends an olive branch to Zoe, and they start to heal their broken relationship.

Zoe’s Son And His Adoptive Mother Come To Town

Meanwhile, Josh Goodwin (Joshua Vaughan) and his adoptive mother Sandra (Dawn Steele) arrive in Walford; but how long will it take before he meets his birth mother Zoe?

Alarm bells go off for Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) when they learn that a mysterious woman named Sandra has been inquiring about Jasmine.

Worried about Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker), the sisters quickly switch to protective mode-but the truth soon comes to light.

Sandra is actually the adoptive mother of Zoe’s son, Josh, and she shares her experiences with her son and their link to Jasmine.

However, the situation takes an unexpected turn when Josh suddenly appears in the Square, eager to find his mother.

Josh And Sandra Meet Denise And Kim For Drinks

Later, Josh and Sandra meet Denise and Kim for drinks at The Albert while he looks for answers about Jasmine.

However, things fall apart when Denise inadvertently brings up Zoe. An angry Josh storms out, making it clear he wants nothing to do with his biological mother.

Denise and Kim then inform Patrick, who is heartbroken to feel another connection to his deceased son Anthony Trueman (Nicholas Bailey) fading away. But hope is rekindled when Sandra contacts Denise, asking for assistance in talking to Josh about Jasmine.

Denise And Kim Bring A Letter From Patrick, And It Works

To mend relationships, Denise and Kim urge Patrick to compose a sincere letter sharing his life story. When they bring it to Sandra’s apartment, she convinces Josh to read it; the effort pays off.

Josh eventually goes back to Walford and informs a thrilled Denise and Kim that he wants to meet the Trueman family next week.

However, he quickly becomes interested in someone else when Oscar Branning (Pierre Counihan-Moullier) appears in front of him. Could this be the beginning of a new romance?

Suki Disapproves Of Penny’s Pregnancy

Suki Panesar-Unwin (Balvinder Sopal) disapproves of Penny Branning’s (Kitty Castledine) pregnancy. Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) attempts to tell Suki about Penny’s pregnancy, but she cuts him off before he can speak.

The truth comes out later when Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) accidentally reveals it by inviting the family for lunch to talk about the baby. Suki is completely caught off guard, and tempers rise quickly as she argues with both Penny and Vinny about the news.

Penny stands her ground, making it clear that she and Vinny plan to keep the baby regardless of Suki’s feelings; what is her problem?

Linda Gets A Shock

Linda is taken aback when she tries to find Max;  he shows up at The Vic after being kicked out of No.45 and they immediately have a confrontation. He later tries to make things right with her, saying sorry for how he acted in the past.

Wanting to mend their friendship, she asks him to spend the day with her and Annie Carter (Lois Hawkins), which he happily agrees to.

As they spend time together, Linda commends Max for being a good father, and he even stands by her when Johnny brushes her off in the Square.

Elaine mentions that Max is having a drink at The Albert, and Linda goes to look for him, only to be utterly stunned by what she finds-what has Linda seen?
