We’re diving into the dynamics of relationships, exploring who’s coming together and who’s parting ways as significant changes loom on the horizon.

Recently, we witnessed EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) sharing a kiss with Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord), but she definitely has her own motives.

We’ll also delve into Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) romantic life, examining the situation with his ex, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).

We’ll also check into Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) and his new love interest. But before we jump into the whirlwind of romance in Salem, let’s rank these couples based on who’s in it for the long haul and who’s ready to call it quits.

EJ And Cat

Let’s get started-first up, we have EJ and Cat. This week’s twist caught us off guard when she accused Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) of being jealous at the mere thought of her possibly getting involved with EJ.

We were left scratching our heads, and Rafe looked equally confused. He informed Cat that he was putting a stop to her investigation, yet she appears determined to take EJ down, asserting that her ISA status means Rafe can’t control her.

However, Andrew Donovan (Colton Little) has already cautioned Cat against getting involved with EJ, and Rafe has echoed that warning too.

Cat Confidently Went To Tell EJ What Happened When She Was Hypnotized

Cat confidently strode over to the DiMera mansion, ready to share the details of her recent hypnosis session with EJ.

After revealing her memories, she leaned in and kissed him. To her delight, EJ was nothing short of a true gentleman, expressing that she was worth the wait.

We genuinely believe that EJ and Cat are on the verge of a passionate romance. But it won’t be long before things take a turn for the worse when he discovers her secret scheming against him.

Chad Was With Cat Until He Wasn’t!

Now, let’s shift our focus to EJ’s younger brother, Chad, who had been involved with Cat. That is, until Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) threw a tantrum and ensured it was included in his custody agreement that Chad could never date her.

Remember, Cat and Chad had just begun to hit it off when that bombshell dropped.

However, when Thomas DiMera (Alexander Elijah Bond) uncovered that Cat was impersonating his deceased mother, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), they had to end things. Chad wasn’t about to jeopardize his relationship with his kids just to continue his affair with Cat.

Chad And Belle

At this moment, Chad is involved with Belle Black (Martha Madison), and we have a strong feeling that it won’t be long before they take their relationship to the next level.

However, deep down, we believe Chad still has lingering feelings for Cat. Complicating matters further, when Chad discovers just how close Cat has been to EJ during his brother’s troubling times, it will undoubtedly repulse him.

This revelation could very well mean that Cat might never have another opportunity to rekindle her romance with him. So, that will be the end of any future for Chad with Cat.

Brady And Sarah

Next,  the intriguing life of Brady Black (Eric Martsolf); he is completely smitten with Dr. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), and they seem ready to exchange the magical phrase, “I love you.”

Rumors suggest Brady might propose, but there’s a twist—Sarah’s heart is still tethered to her ex, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer).

Currently, Brady and Sarah are enjoying a passionate connection, but as Sarah realizes the depth of Brady’s feelings while still emotionally linked to her past, their budding romance could be at risk.

We sense a breakup is on the horizon. To complicate matters, Sarah has been having vivid dreams about rekindling her romance with Xander.

Kristen’s Headed For A Kidnapping

Additionally, it’s clear that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk)  is headed for a kidnapping due to her numerous misdeeds.

It seems that Stacy Haiduk will be taking a break from the show for a while. However, in the upcoming months, we can expect to see Xander and Sarah working towards mending their relationship.

Once they start rekindling their romance, a remarriage is on the horizon, and let’s hope they stick together for good. It is frustrating to see a couple break up and make up so many times!

Gwen Broke The Girl Code

Now, let’s shift our focus to Gwen, who is absolutely livid that one of her few allies in Salem, Kristen, chose to break the girl code by getting involved with Xander.

To make matters worse, Kristen had the audacity to tell Gwen that Xander probably wouldn’t have been with her if she had known how to truly please him.

Even though Gwen and Xander were merely enjoying some playful moments together, Kristen was well aware that Gwen still harbored deep feelings for him. But as the saying goes, the best way to move on from one man is to find comfort in another.

Philip Needs A Girlfriend

In Salem, a heartbroken hunk is in dire need of Gwen’s attention; Philip Kiriakis, Xander’s brother, played by John-Paul Lavoisier.

He’s devastated after finding out that Gabi Hernandez, (Cherie Jimenez), collaborated with Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis)  to bug his and Xander’s office.

Meanwhile, Gabi seems intent on inserting herself into Theo Carver’s (Tyler Joseph Andrews) life, despite his current hatred for her.

Yet, we can’t help but feel that Days of Our Lives is hinting at a romantic connection between Gabi and Theo, leading to some steamy moments. Additionally, they’ve already created several captivating scenes of Gwen running into Philip, which heightens the drama!

Leo And Dimitri-Again?

Let’s check out  the exciting Days of Our Lives summer promo-currently, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) is dealing with another brain injury and some serious boyfriend envy, wishing to reunite with his ex, Javi Hernandez (Jacob Martinez).

However, Javi’s also content with his new boyfriend, Gus (Michael Ocampo). Remember, Leo turned down the attractive Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) to chase after Javi. Dimitri, furious, left Salem after trying to ensure Javi wouldn’t look at Leo again.

But the big promo reveals that Dimitri is returning to Salem! In the coming weeks, we can expect a tense showdown at the DiMera mansion involving Dimitri, Rafe, Leo, and Gwen.
