‘DOOL’ Spoilers Weekly Update: Steve Shadows, Christening Chaos, Jack & Jenn Return

Days of Our Lives spoilers are in for the week of January 19, 2026. Fans can expect Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) to follow Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).

Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree-DiMera (Raven Bowens) get ready for a baby christening.

Steve Johnson’s Shadow Work

Let’s start off with Steve. Fans know that Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) is tired of always looking over her shoulder, wondering when the stalker will strike next.

It seems that the stalker is focused on getting rid of Alex. Stephanie published the engagement announcement, hoping that it would draw the villain out.

So far, nothing. However, later in the week, Alex and Stephanie get an interesting development. Then, it is stated that Steve will shadow Alex.

JANEL Baby Christening

As for Johnny and Chanel, the couple have finally worked out their pregnancy differences.

Now that they have cleared up that miscommunication, they have a task to schedule. Johnny and Chanel have to get the baby ready for a huge milestone: a christening.

However, Chanel is having a lot of morning sickness. On the one hand, some doctors say that’s a sign of a healthy pregnancy. On the other hand, Chanel could puke all over the priest at the christening!

Sophia Choi’s Observation

Days of Our Lives spoilers for next week reveal that Ari Horton (Marissa Reyes) thought she saw Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) in the Horton Town Square. When Ari called her name, Sophia just kept walking.

However, Ari will get questioned later by Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez). Then, Sophia is surprised to see Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis).

What Else to Expect

As for what else to expect, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) finds out that Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) is leaving town. Leo begs him to stay, but Javi will explain that it’s his father’s health. Javi and Leo will share a bittersweet goodbye.

Meanwhile, Gwen Rizczech von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien) has another showdown with Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte).

Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) come back to Salem. The couple will be in town to discuss custody options with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn).

Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) confides in Felicity Greene (Kennedy Garcia).

Plus, Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will finally host her first book club. The woman will be joined by Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers), Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), and Foster (Miles Anderson).
