Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of October 12–16 promise family drama, unexpected opportunities, and growing concerns.

Lani has finished her parole, and it appears she may finally receive the pardon that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) has been fighting for.

Will Lani accept Jada’s offer and return to law enforcement?

Meanwhile, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will accidentally bump into Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd), but he won’t even realize who he’s encountered.

Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will return home with Sophia in tow.

Of course, Sophia’s return is bound to complicate things for Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate Black (Leo Howard).

Stephanie Johnson Makes Her Point

Stephanie will hear a baby crying and realize that Joy is alone with her.

Concerned, Stephanie will open the apartment door, but Joy will manage to get back into her wheelchair before Stephanie catches her.

Joy will then lash out at Stephanie for interfering.

Stephanie will share her concerns with her mother, Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).

Alex will finally realize there may be some truth to Stephanie’s suspicions and decide to set a trap to catch Joy in the act.

In the meantime, Joy will find herself flirting with Tate as they begin her physical therapy.

Could Joy come between Tate and Holly?

And what will happen when Tate sees Holly bonding with Mason Whitfield (Brandon Butler)?

Chad DiMera Learns Shocking News

Chad will confront EJ about the lawsuit and the way DiMera disposed of the tainted drugs.

However, Chad is about to receive an even bigger shock involving information Belle Black (Martha Madison) hasn’t shared with him.

EJ will reveal that they have another brother, and this new family member could become a major problem.

How will Chad react when he learns that he and Belle share another brother?

Meanwhile, Marlena will confront Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) about her feelings for EJ.

EJ will finally decide to forgive Cat, and she’ll agree to return to work for him.

The two will also share a kiss very soon.

Can Cat stick to her plan to take EJ down, or will her growing feelings for him interfere with her mission?

Editor’s Take

I think the Joy storyline is about to get interesting now that Alex is finally starting to listen to Stephanie.

Joy has been getting away with far too much, and I’d love to see Alex catch her in one of her lies!

As for EJ and Cat, that kiss could complicate everything. Cat is supposed to be taking EJ down, not falling for him. Something tells me she’s going to have a difficult time keeping her feelings out of this.

And I’m curious to see how Chad handles another DiMera family surprise. Salem certainly doesn’t need another complicated family secret, but here we are!
