Unexpected Kidnapping

Just after Stephanie and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) got married, the new bride was kidnapped. They had barely shared their news with family members when it happened.

Of course, fans know that it’s because the real stalker is using high-tech spy surveillance equipment to listen to everything they are saying.

Of course, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) found the listening bug, but will it help them find Stephanie?

Right now, the police are searching for Stephanie as well as Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols).

Then, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) join the search for Stephanie, too.

Don’t expect her to get found this week, though. On Friday, February 27, 2026, Stephanie tries to escape. “Tries” is the keyword. It suggests that Stephanie isn’t able to get out of her situation. At least, not this week.

Wrong Nightmares

Fans watched as Stephanie had a nightmare while being tied up in that chair. The young woman dreamt that she was being tormented by Jeremy. While Stephanie and most others assumed it was Jeremy, fans know that it’s not.

Jeremy supposedly left Salem. If he actually did leave, then that could clear him. However, I worry that he’s trying to investigate and play the hero. That could have some complications.

Trauma & Confusion

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that it is most likely Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey) who has taken Stephanie.

However, with Stephanie dreaming that it’s Jeremy, she might end up confused when she’s finally rescued.

What if Jeremy finds out where she’s being held and comes to the rescue? The longer that Stephanie stays in captivity, the worse her trauma and confusion will be. Even if Jeremy comes in there to save her, she might mistakenly think he’s the kidnapper.

Police Arrest Hero?

By the time the police and the FBI actually find Stephanie, she could point the finger at Jeremy. Even though Jeremy will try to explain that he’s not the one who took her but saved her, proving it might be another story.

Will Jeremy face yet another complication? Could Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) giving the Horton cabin keys to Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) cause an unexpected twist?
