DOOL Spoilers: Sofia Mattson Hired As Chloe Lane Recast As Nadia Bjorlin Confirms No Return

Days Of Our Lives spoilers suggest that Sofia Mattsson, former Sasha Gilmore, GH, may have been hired as a recast on DOOL.

Nadia Bjorlin has confirmed that she won’t be returning as Chloe Lane. However, with Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) in Salem and about to have surgery, Chloe has been rumored to be returning. Could Mattsson be playing Chloe?

Nadia Bjorlin Turned Down A Return

Bjolin and Kyler Pettis (ex-Theo Carver) recently spoke with Michael Fairman about a new movie they are doing together.

The movie is called Veronica and Julian and Bjorlin also addressed her return, or lack of return to Days Of Our Lives. Their has been rumors circulating that Sofia could be recast as Chloe to bring her back to Salem.

Mattsson would make Chloe a little younger than normal, but that is common practice in soaps.

Bjorlin admitted that she cannot say anything about the possible recast of her former Days character. However, Bjorlin says she was asked to reprise the role and she turned the offer down to come back.

Nadia Bjorlin Lives Outside The Country

Bjorlin lives with her family in Ireland currently and returning is just not logically possible at this time.

Bjorlin also has other things going on in her life right now and working in the soap, especially considering her home, is just not something she is open to at this time. Will Chloe be recast so that she came be there for her little sister?

Bjorlin says she has fond memories of working at Days Of Our Lives. The actress also admits to being sad that she had to pass up the opportunity to return at this time.

However, the actress had to do what was right for herself and her family. So if Chloe does return to Salem, Bjorlin made it clear that she would not be playing the role.

Does Nadia Bjorlin Know More Than She’s Saying?

Bjorlin’s demeanor certainly makes it seem like that she knows a recast is on the way. Of course, there is probably a NDA stating that she cannot release this information.

Even though Bjorlin said she could not comment on that particular question, she did say, “I wish another actor all the best obviously and whatnot if that was their decision.”

Mattsson will make her Days debut in early 2027 and Bjorlin didn’t seem at all surprised by the question.

Does Bjorlin know who is taking over the role and that she is for sure coming back in the near future? Could Bjorlin be offering a hint without quiet saying exactly what is going on with a recast?
